Ummm, Skyler is right, and that is the end of that argument. Also, if there were a god of spatial sciences and mathematics, we wouldn't name them Frank.
It's the fact that Frank is entirely irrelevant to anything on this board. Magic and science are not strongly related in our "world". Otherwise, we would need a full blown mathematician and scientist to be able to tell us what we can and cannot do with regards to powers. So, there cannot be a god of them. Also, the other problem is you cannot create gods randomly, they won't make sense.

Back to the topic.
I have another question for you to think about. Is there anything that would make sense for your race to be allowed to do (within reason of course) that you can't?

What about wizards summoning creatures? Like whatever our element is, we could summon a creature based on it?

Vampires flying.
I mean I know they don't HAVE to. But their so closely associated with bats that it would be awesome. Oh and if they could turn into bats, or bats could be like... their animal...

Umm I'm really not so sure for shifter's, really I think that they can do everything that they should be able to do, maybe like be able to have some of their animal traits in their human form. Like if you were a cheetah (or wolf/dog) you would be able to run abnormally fast or something. Or if your animal could fly, you wouldn't be able to fly but like you would be a really good jumper or something... I don't know; shifter's are good lol.
Hmm... just trying to give feedback on other races not represented too... Clerics maybe, since their life is devoted to protecting, maybe they would be able to create a really powerful shield or something...
Hmm... I don't know.

This is a hard Q, Cass. I mean, we're dealing with intangible's and people's own particular imaginations, and creativity. No matter how much we think about it, it will always be left up to an individual to come up with something else that has to be answered....
I think that everything we've got is good right now, but I also know that sooner or later, we're gonna have someone come up with a question that hasn't been asked, and has no answer until it has been. Most of the people on here, have been here for a while, and know their own boundaries, and what they want to do with their powers....so I think that if it comes up, it'll probably happen when we get new blood, so to speak.
I do like Tate's ideas for shifters...I mean, it doesn't have to be speed...what if it's eyesight or sense of smell. Clerics might be able to get precog...they'd know something was going to happen a few seconds before it did...so if they were attacked they could avoid. Humans are the hardest...I mean, in a world full of magical people, who wants to be human? LOL.
Vamps flying, well we could use the Dracula rule...only the oldest and most powerful could...that being Dracula himself. But at the same time, they've got alot of other advantages even without it...super speed, super strength, drinking blood, and even a bit of the hypnotizing thing...but again...this is all intangible.
In a room full of creative people...everyone will come up with something different, and equally interesting to play with. LOL...I think it'll have to go on a case by case basis...even as sucky as that is...

My questions are about Vampires.
Are we allowed to command animals as familiars such as the wolf, the rat, the fox, the owl, or the bat once they aren't actually Shape shifters?
Also speaking of shape shifters can the vampires here also be allowed to shapeshift in to a mist, or "Nothingness"?
And what about the "Jedi Mind Trick" like mind control that a vampire can do to his victims, can we do that here also?
I hope I'm not asking to much? and Cass I also would like to apologize in advanced for apologizing to much.

Everything that people ask we will take into consideration. But a lot of the things we say no to will be because they are going to make one race too powerful over all the other races. What I really want more then any of the other ones is the Clerics and the Mystic Warriors. As they were races the admins made up, they are lacking in depth and I think that is one of the reasons we have fewer for those races then any of the other ones. Especially clerics.
