Malachi smiled, like he was happy for what her brother was going to get into.
"That is very true. The women here are probably much different here, several of them probably more powerful than he is. It wouldn't surprise me. They are more powerful than me..."

Anima looked at him. "Well. Don't take me wrong, my brother is stupid, but he's not weak. We've been alive for more then we need to be." She shifted a bit. "But, you're probably right.. He's alittle nieve."

Tate shook his head.
"I never meant to imply that your brother was weak. I am sorry if it sounded like it. I was just saying, that some of the most powerful people alive are girls, they are not to be underestimated. Especially in a town of magic."

Anima smirked.
"So, I see. Well. Still. He's nieve. And the fact that you're not downing girls and being a sexist...that's great. You don't find many people like that." She smiled, making note, he got trust points.

Malachi smiled.
"Thank you, I am not that kind of person. I was brought up differently than that. I was brought up to love and respect everyone. Though it isn't always easy to follow through with those learnings."

Anima nodded in agreement. "Yea. I understand. I was brought up almost the same way. Except, I wasn't allowed to love the opposing country...Cuba. But. I found a Love for one of them. That really brought me down, in stats. A Persian and a Cuban. No way around that one." She blinked and realized she was rambling. She felt too comfortable with him. "Sorry..." She looked away and rubbed her arm.

Malachi smiled, shaking his head.
"Don't worry. It's okay. I will listen."

Anima looked at him. "NO. For two reasons. One, I don't throw my problems on other people. Two..." She looked him in the eye. "I can't trust people that much.."

Malachi shrugged.
"Alright. Whatever you want."
He turned his head away from her, looking around the Cafe. This whole place was so new to him. So much different than where he had come from. Everyone got along so well, and there wasn't much fighting.
I guess it's all part of a person's journey...
He thought to himself.

Malachi shrugged.
"Not too much. Just the differences between where I come from and here."

Anima nodded. "Well. This place is definatly alot more different than most....it's definatly different." She smiled. "I bet you'd give anything to go back."

Malachi shrugged.
"You know, to tell the truth, I'm not sure. I mean, yeah I get along with everyone in the mortal world, and I'm really popular, but I can't use my powers or anything."

Anima nodded. "I understand. I guess it's easier being a Vampire in the mortal world..only because you don't really have anything to worry about..." She looked at him. "Except the random urges and the transformations on full moons."

Malachi looked at her strangely.
"What about the sun?"
