Keira walked, no, strutted, into the café. She was wearing a short jean skirt, and had on a cute light pink shirt. She tossed her hair expertly over her shoulder, and sat down. It took no more than two minutes for a waiter to attend to her. Well, a waiter would be an under statement, about five rushed to her. Keira smiled as she looked at them. Excellent. She thought as they all began asking her how they could help her, and what she needed. Keira picked the dark haired one and gave him her order in the ditziest way she could muster without hurting her intergrity and pride. The waiter hurried off to get her order as two more fought over who would serve her water. Keira rolled her eyes at the pair of boys, wishing she had a challenge to manipulate someone.

Kailen was sitting at a table slightly diagonal from this new girl, who was all of a sudden flaunted with waiters, taking them all away from him, so he couldn't order. He just smiled and shook his head quietly. Not sporting his normal atire, which was hiding his body mostly. Today he had on a pair of long tan shorts, that went just a little bit lower than his knees. And a black under armor tanktop.

Keira's eye caught the only other guy in teh cafe that wasn't a waiter. She smiled at him shyly, but with a hint of mystery. She looked the guy up and down from what she could see and smirked, with a kiss hidden in the corner of her mouth that no man, nor immortal could get. Keira rose up and walked across to the guy's table. "Anyone sitting here?" She asked smoothly, her eyes playing tricks with the light, making them go from green, to blue, to black, to green-blue, to greyish-green, and back to green.

Kailen couldn't help but smile. He wasn't easily seduced, but you never know. He held his hands out, motioning to the opposite side of the booth.
"Nope."

Keira sat down gracefully and smiled again, "Hi, my name is Keira. What's yours?" She tossed her hair over her shoulder, it caught the light in just the right way that it made it glimmer. She laced her fingers together and rested her head on her fingers, her elbows resting delicately on the table.

Kailen nodded, looking down to the menu, not even at her.
"The names Kailen."
He didn't do it visilbly, but he looked upwards, and looked up and down her, trying to examine, and see what she was. But he wasn't able to tell.

Keira looked behind her as a waiter came with her order. Keira nodded silently to him, then looked back at Kailen, "Well it's nice to meet you. How long have you been here?"
The waiter waited for Keira to ask her question before asking Kailen for his order.

Kailen looked up to the waiter quickly, and then back down to the menu.
"I will have the small salad, with a water, please."
He looked over to Keira before folding up his menu, and handing it to the waiter before he walked off. Then, looking back to Keira, he gave her a half-smile.
"Not too long. What about yourself?"

Keira shrugged, the hair on her shoulders falling off like a waterfall, "A couple of days. I don't know the area very well. I left my home when my mother died, and I hardly know my father."

Kailen watched her, not showing too much emotion even. It didn't seem like, yet.
"Oh, I'm sorry."
He wasn't exactly sure what to say after that.

Keira shrugged, "It happens." She looked at her plate and gracefully began eating. Her motions were fluid, and went to gether without jerks or second thoughts on how she was eating. Her hair fluttered down into her face every so often, and with one quick flick of her hand, her hair was back in it's place over her shoulder. Keira looked up at Kailen and gave him a closed mouth smile, almost a smirk. She took a small sip of her water and placed her fork on her plate.
The waiter came back with Kailen's salad and water and took Keira's plate from her. She smiled at him and nodded a thanks before looking back over at Kailen. "So," She said watching him, "What has your life been like?"

Kailen was obviously thinking about how to word his history, as he ate a few bites of his salad. He ate it very politely, and small amounts at a time, about only one or two pieces of lettuce a bite. After about three bites, he took a small sip of his water and set it back down on the table. He looked up to Keira with a half-smile on his face.
"Well, After I was conceived, my father was killed in a 'gangwar' I guess you could say. Him and my mother lived in a town where only witches and wizards or warlocks, were a loud to live. A group formed to try and get the town to allow other races in, if they wanted to live there. But they got into a big fight, and killed my father, he was the only death in the fight, because after he got killed, the other members of his gang ran off, seperated, and weren't heard from anymore, at least by us. Within two weeks after the fight, my mother moved out of that town, afraid of what might happen. So, before I was born, my mom moved into a human community. She was accepted there, and liked it, but never told anyone she was a witch. So when I got old enough to set out on my own, I did so. Hoping to improve my strength. And to widen my opinion on people, since I don't have the best perspective on other people of magic."

Keira listened intently for any weaknesses he might have when it came to manipulating. She caught a couple and smiled warmly. "Sorry to hear that. Is your mother still alive?"

Kailen nodded happily.
"Very much. I think she may even be getting back into the dating habit. Though it is hard since Witches and Mortals age differently."
He laughed momentarily.

Keira watched him and sighed heavily, "At least you know your living parent. My father is still a stranger to me. I know nothing about him, well except for his name."
