Rain just smiles "I suppose you wouldn't know. All right - I'll give you a little hint at what I did with the other half. I split it with Drake - and thats why I'm so close with him." She smiles to herself "I love him, thats why I did it."

"Okay, so does that mean that Drake has half of your soul? You gave him half of your soul so he wouldn't die? What was he going to die from?"

"Well....Lets just say we were attacked. He was hit - really badly - a few times with a crossbow. So was I, as a matter of fact, but anyways His body was under too much stress from the fight that it was going to give out. It was the only thing I could do to save him really." She takes a moment to breathe, then continues "So I sliced this thing in half and embeaded it into his soul. Though he doesn't know that part." She smiles and keeps going "So now I'm forced to live with half while he has one and a half. I'm not blaming him for whats happening to me though - I'm glad that I did save him."

She shakes her ehad "I dunno - The soul is really fragile. Even the slightest unbalance can cause t to...uh...break in a form. I can't risk it - I'll just have to fnd another way. But my time's running out - as you can see." She gestures to the black inside the stone. "See that? Thats a little over a mouths worth of doing. My soul is collapsing slowly." She didn't mind talking about it anymore - there wasn't a whole lot of time left, adn she didn't want to admit it, but she needed help. Now more than ever.

She bangs her head on the bar once then looks back at him "Yeah - well - it doesn't matter really. I...I can figure it out." She tops in the middle of her lie "Sorry - I really don't know how to ask for help. But it would be nice to have one more person helping. Drake is always helping of coarse...but hes really stressed with - uh - other things." She sighs and continues "Actually, I found somthing in the library a little while ago that may help. It was a history of some village that looked like mine...but thre was ahuge temple and mine didn't have one..."

"Well - family history lesson - My village was burned by a group of people called Desians....long story short I've been traveling around since I was 9 with a man named Elzual. Hes like an older brother to me, but thats beside the point."
"Anyways, my family all died, at least thats what I think, and I was thinking...maybe there is somthing still there. A clue to helping me, or somthing. Anything. All I know, the longer I stay here the less time I have. Drake and I were planning on leaving for it but then he.....he had to go away on some personal stuff. He was gone a long time - and as you know - just came back. We haven't tlaked abou tit yet...and I'm afraid to ask really."
At his first remrk she says "Of coarse he knows that he has some of my soul - He didn't want it and almost made me take it out when it happened. But....he doesn't know that if I do he may die."

"Yes...Is uppose I could do that. But then again - he just pops up places here and there - hes looking for cluses to his own little - uh - problem." She smiles "Its not eh same as mine, of coarse, but its almost as bad. He has some kind of slow acting toxin in his blood stream, its been there for over 3 mounths, and its.....not too good. Hes really close though - just a few more ingrediants, thats what it said in his last letter anyways."
