Riley walked into the club. It was loud but she paid no attention. She sat at the bar, ordered a drink, then watched the others having fun. She was used to watching. All her life she watched as other kids had fun, watched the girls in high school go to prom, watched parents and their children at the beach. Finally, she watched as her life was taken and was reborn into darkness.

Cassiel walked into the bar after a long day at work. Her hands hurt, and her eyes were red. Kione's order was proving to be a big project, but it was finally finished. She was worried about him not liking it. The plan was to call him in the next day.
Walking up to the bar, she sat down and ordered a drink to calm her nerves. To her left was a girl she'd never seen before. Cassiel turned to the girl, "Hey, how are you?"

Riley slowly turned to the girl next to her, "Was that directed towards me, or someone you actually know?"

Cassiel looked slightly hurt. "I was talking to you. I'm sorry, I should have introduced myself first, but this is such a small town I figured you were probably sick of people asking you if you were new."

Zane walked up to the bar and ordered his usual, then turned to see Cassiel and someone else.
"Hey Kitty. Who's the newbie?"

Cassiel shook her head. "Don't be rude. Why don't you ask her yourself. And I don't know." Her tone was not angry however.

"Hey..." Zane looked over at the new girl. ..."Who are you and what brings you to this little town?..." He looked back at Cassiel. "...Not very responsive is she?"

Selene was hanging out over in a corner of the club and got up and walked over to Zane, Cassiel and the new girl. She looked at Zane first, "Well if it was the same reason you came then we might have some problems." She reached into her pocket and reached her hand out to Cassiel, "I've been meaning to give you these." She dropped the small bottle in her hands, "Eye drops, use them before and after work, it'll help with the redness." She smiled to Cassiel, then looked at the new girl, "I'm Selene." She told her, still waiting for the girl's name.

"Thanks Selene, but I have stuff of my own, I just forgot to bring it to work with me." Cassiel gave Selene a small smile.

Rain walks in from the cold winds outside. She notices a small group of familiar faces gathering at the bar. She smiles and walks over. "Hey - whats the comotion about?" She continues to smile when she notices a new face. Rain continues to smile and says "Hello - I'm Rain."

Rain glances over at Zane "Your right - I haven't seen you ina while. How goes the slaughter of innocence?" She smiles a little "Not everyone has to play your game Zane - its not all about you now." laughing she shakes her head "I'm just kidding."

Cassiel smiled, "I'm Cassiel. Please excuse our friend Zane, he came from an uncivilized part of the world and we are still working on teaching him his manners," she said, laughing. "A lot of us came here because we had nowhere else to go. Personally, I wasn't planning on staying long, but I liked it here so I;ve decided to stay."
