Tate did a summersault backwards, to his feet before the daggers got to him. He laughed quickly.
"Were you trying to kill me? With daggers? Hah. That wouldn't work!"
Tate ran at her, once he got close enough, he swung his leg, for a very fast swinging kick.

Selene jumped above his legs and smirked, "You think I'm stupid? It only takes some guessing to figure out what race you are." Selene grabbed a chair from near by and broke it so it splintered, she threw the broken chair leg at Tate's thigh.

Tate watched as the chair leg came flying at him, but didn't have time to do anything, he just jumped slightly, so it hit his shin, instead of thigh. It stuck into Tate's leg, and he pulled it out quickly, blood beginning to run down his leg, but the bloodflow slowing down so it wouldn't bleed for long. He ignored it and threw the wooden leg at Selene's foot, but giving her enough time to dodge it, he didn't want to hurt her that bad.

Selene moved her foot, "How about silver?" Selene chucked a small areodynamic knife at Tate's arm.

Tate moved his arm as fast as he could, but the knife still knicked his arm. He began to bleed on his arm now, but ignored it again, knowing it would stop eventually. He grabbed a chair from a table, and threw the whole chair at Selene.

Selene ducked, but the chair hit her back, ripping her coat and shirt, but not breaking the skin. Selene stood up straight with an evil grin, "Did you know the top three races in Nightworld are Vampires, Werewolves, and Shifters?" Selene watched Tate for his expression, "I'm thinking that you're one of those."

Tate shrugged, smirking.
"Well anythings worth a try now, isn't it?"
He chuckled for a minute, but then stopped and stared at Selene, showing no fear."

Selene stood upright and said the first word of the curse, knowing it would cause Tate either extreme nearly heart stopping pain, or simply nothing.

At first, nothing happened. But Tate looked shocked as Selene said the curse from the top of her head. Though he could tell she had never used it before, because it didn't take affect right away. But within the minute, Tate covered his ears in pain as a loud screaching noise came into his head. He fell to the ground, his hands still on his ears, and wriggled around in pain.

Selene watched him and said the first three words of a different curse. She didn't say them with much feeling but wanted Tate's pain to end. "I can kill you if I want, but just so you know, that's how I've felt ever since all this began. Ever since I went into that lake and almost died during the winter soltice, ever since Zane left and I haven't heard from him, ever since I've felt the pain my baby is going through in me, and ever since I took Cassiel to that room."

Tate slowly got up off the ground. He stared at her, not exactly sure what to say. She said she's been feeling that pain, but she hadn't. She didn't know what the curse felt like. He just stood there and stared at her.

The look that Tate was giving Selene told her a lot. "You've never felt the sun burn your skin, you've never felt like dying because you got a splinter, and you haven't felt a baby dying inside of you," She said, "But pain all ends up feeling the same eventually..." She trailed off sadly. Selene turned away and began to walk to the door, "You won't tell me what happend between you and my sister, but I guess you don't care that we'll never love eachother again." Selene walked out of the club and vanished off the streets.

Kaden was distracted by the whole fight that had taken place there. He saw Selene walk out. "Well...Maybe all that melodrama was necessary." He said, a little tipsy.

Tate walked slowly out of the club, behind Selene, but turned a different way then her, he made sure he was out of everyone's site, and turned into Fang, then ran off.

Arwen's head began to hurt also, when Selene said some of the words to the curse. "WTF make is stop!" she screamed, the screeching noise pounding in her head, which was now in her hands. Finally, it let up, after Selene left the club
