Oh no! Lily thought. Pay? Where's Kaden?
" Yes of course you get paid, but it wont be much I'm afraid!" I'll have to pay him from my wages, she thought glumly. So much for soft hearts and good intentions!
" But we can go out another time and you can pay me then!" she smiled brightly.
She slipped on a hooded jacked and pulled up the hood. At Skylers questioning look she said," I know it's not cold, but I avoid the sun, if you know what I mean!"
She shushed him out of the door and locked it.
" Ok then Skyler, the Rainforest cafe it is!"
Walking down the street with her young companion caused a few stares. Who are they looking at? she thought. Skyler or me? Then another thought hit her. Anyways, who cares? I like him!
