Standing at the doorway Kiya gave one final glance over the party, then with a sly smile grabbed one of the floating candles to take home to Tsjata. Hailing a cab she set off home.

((haha I had to add that, it made me sounds smart, and plus I know what it means!))
Liliona shook her head, and turned back away from the club, enough for one night. she pulled her coat closer to her neck as she walked home.

Sharir startled when Arwen spoke to him. He couldn't get over the rotten luck his day had given him. First, he wound up getting out of work late, which in turn made him late at the costume rental shop, making him a mouse instead of a man and then the taxi takes off with his tail! The shifter swallowed his curses and managed a weak grin for Arwen.
"Sorry I'm late, but things just didn't work out the way I'd planned," he apologised. He really wished he still had his tail so that he could twist it with embarrassment. "This was the only costume left. Can you live with a mouse for the evening? Especially a tailless one?"
At times like this, he blessed his Mom, who had always made him wear longjohns under any of the solstice costumes he had worn as a kid. Thanks to her, his underwear clad rear end wasn't hanging out of his furry grey pants.

Arwen smiled, "I guess this princess will be okay with a Mouse for a prince" she laughed, grabbing his hand

Sharir gave Arwen a grateful grin as he followed her out onto the dancefloor.
"At least I don't have to worry about anyone stepping on my tail...."
The dancefloor was crowded with pairs, some inebriated and reeling in their own version of a slow dance, while others spun and laughed happily. Several were snuggled up together just enjoying the chance for closeness in the crowd.
"Would you care for a dance, my lady?" Sharir asked Arwen in a stately manner.

Arwen curtsied. "It would be my honor" she said as she took his hand.
