[Nicoli]

"Whats up?" He asked as he finished his cigarette, crushing the but into the ashtray to puntuate his question. He pushed his nearly empty beer away. It was time for talking, not drinking. "Full on what?"

[Kiya]

"Ive just learnt alot about my past" Kiya rubbed her forehead, trying to work out the best way to say what she had to. "Things have changed a little, Nic. Ive changed"

[Nicoli]

He tensed mentally, but on the outside he was a rock. Un-readable to all but the very gifted. "Okay..." He said, a bit inquisitivly. He had two idea's of what where coming, both not likeable, but things he could deal with in time. "Continue."

[Kiya]

Reaching for both his hands she tried a little more unsuccessfully to mask her own feelings, "We never see eachother anymore Nic. I dont even know where we stand."

[Nicoli]

Taking her hands, he looked down and sighed. "Yeah... Your right. It's just been... Difficult since the storm, and that incident in the caves... I don't know." He looked back at her and smiled. "So. Where do we go from here?"

[Kiya]

Kiya grimmaced, still holding his gaze "I cant see any future for us, Nic."

[Nicoli]

Idea number one. Nic just sat there and looked at her. His smile growing broader. "First, before I tell you what I think, which is your absoluetely right, though I hate to admidt it, is that you shouldn't be grimmacing so much. It doesn't suit you."

He folded her hands, and put his over hers on her lap. "Secondly, you shouldn't sound so distraut over telling me what you feel is right. I love you Kiya," he said, "Just... Not in the way I thought I did."

[Kiya]

Kiyas face softened, her grip of Nics hands loosening immediately, "What do you mean by that?"

[Nicoli]

"You are like a sister to me Kiya. I realize that now." He said sofly, loosening his grip as well. "I'll always be here for you. But, somethings were just not meant to be."

[Kiya]

Kiya beamed suddenly as she jumped quickly to hug Nicoli, "Oh Nic! Thats exactly it!". She pulled away, "ditto bro"

[Nicoli]

He laughed at the sudden suprise attack and hugged her back. When she leaned back he pulled his beer back over. "So, whatta you wanna do?" he asked. Taking a drink of his beer, he listened again to the music. Another pulse began to beat in his head as he began to tap his foot.

[Kiya]

"I wanna work all this stuff out... and then i`ll be back to enjoy your company" she gave him a light kiss on the cheek, picking her stuff up. "Thats a load off my mind though"

[Nicoli]

"Actually I think I'm gonna go ahead and head back to the Inn." He said a little blearily. Standing up and having a dizzy spell, he caught himself on one of the stools. "Maybe a cab would be better..."

[Kiya]

Kiyas face shadowed with concern but keeping her mouth closed she nodded, helping Nicoli to the cab. "Take care of your self, k?" she closed the cars door after him. "Call me if you need anything"

[Nicoli]

"Ah I'll be fine." He said. "I'll go and see Tam tommorow alright? Scouts honor." He said, holding up two fingers. The cab drove off and the next thing Nicolie remembered was the cab driver shakeing him lightly as he pulled up to the Inn. He payed the man and drug himself to his room, and threw himself onto the bed. He was asleep before he even hit the mattress.
