"And he thinks of alcohol..."

Kiya laughed, blocking the kick at the last minute, "I thought you were trying not to hurt me". With a run and jump, she grabbed hold of the bar behind her turning just in time for Nic to catch her up. Lifting her weight above the counter she kicked out with both legs catching him on both thigh bones. Standing over the fallen man she smoothed her pants down.

[Nicoli]

"Not bad sweetie," he said, sweeping his leg around, and throwing hers out from under her, "But not good enough."

[Kiya]

Kiya looked up at the ceiling, catching her breath. "Weapons are more my forte" she laughed turning to glance at the vampire. With a quick slide down her leg she reached the dagger in her garter, "You wanna play with some sharper objects?"

[Nicoli]

Nicoli rolled backwards onto his knee's. Tapping on his own long wickedly curved blades hilt, as he didn't carry his swords with him everywhere he went. "As long as I don't get killed." Grabbing the hilt, he took a balanced stance and waited for Kiya to rise. He backed awayout onto the dance floor, tossing his trenchcoat to the side. No point in getting his only prized possesion cut up and torn to peices.

[Kiya]

Kiya pulled herself up slowly, watching him throw the coat with a cheeky smile. Taking her own coat off she circled his defensive stance, flipping her dagger whilst watching for a moment of weakness.

[Nicoli]

He circled around Kiya, in the middle of the dance floor. He felt... Alive. Maybe it was all of the adrealine, or the fact that he was fighting a friend because they could, but it was the feeling that drew him in.

Drawing the blade from it's sheath, he kept circling, and then lunged, almost following all the way through. He had to keep a reign on this feeling. This was only a sparring match.

[Kiya]

Kiyas eyes widened at the deep lunge, "I remember us aggreeing not to kill eachother...." in one quick movement she flung herself at the vampire pinning him with some difficulty to the wall and holding a dagger dangeroudly close to his stomach. "We must be careful when playing with these sharper toys"

[Nicoli]

He dropped the dagger, his body pressed up against the wall. He looked down and saw the little blade hovering a litle to close to his stomach for his liking. "Indeed. But I believe that I've been beaten. Or so it would seem." He breathed hard, trying to catch his breath. "It's been a long time since I've been in such a good fight."

[Kiya]

Kiya`s eyes fell to the vampires dropped dagger before lifting again to his face.
Her stern face relaxed into a bright smile, "You yield?".

[Nicoli]

He nodded. Smiling he lowered her dagger with his hand and gave her a warm hug. "You did great."

[Kiya]

She pulled out slightly to look in the eye, "You seem a little too happy for someone that was just beaten"

[Nicoli]

"It was a sparring match." He shrugged. "What's the point in getting riled up over practice?"

[Kiya]

"Point taken", Kiya folded into the hug once more, "You`re ok, arnt you Nic? You just seemed a little... lost, when I walked in"

[Nicoli]

"Ah it's nothing." He said. "Nothing I can't handle on my own at least." He patted her on the back and pulled a slip of paper from his back pocket. It was an AA meeting list of time's and places, folded up neatly. He'd been waiting toshow it to her, ut now seemed as good a time as any.

Handing the little folded paper to her he smiled. "Go ahead. Open it."

[Kiya]

Kiya took and opened the letter carefully. The moment her eyes caught the meaning of it her face exploded into a major smile, "I knew you could do it" she whispered and pulled him in for another hug.
