Keira waited anxiously for Shana. She had never met the girl, but from what she picked up from Kiya and Tam, she was alright.
Keira glanced at her watch nervously and looked around the club. It was the middle of the day, and rather empty. Keira wore long sleeves and her hair down. Her sunglasses were off as were her gloves.
She looked up everytime she heard the door open, then looked back down when it was just another employee.
Sighing, Keira looked at her watch again.
"Calm down," She told herself, "It's not like you're meeting a bounty hunter who is about to kill you. You're just meeting another girl, and you both know the same guy... no big deal."

The bell jingled as the door to the Myth opened. It was in the middle of the day, so there wen't many people around at this hour.
Fifteen minutes ago, Shana had arrived home to her small room at the Inn to discover a message had been waiting for her. It was less than 24-hours since she was down in the Underworld, so she was still quite weak and looking foreward to a nice nap, but this seemed urgent. So, instead of going straight to sleep, Shana took a quick shower, grabbed a new pair of clothes, and rushed out the door into the warm afternoon sun.
Shana brushed her hair out of her face as she looked around to see who had given her the message. Her long silvery-blonde hair lay around her shoulders, small waves that bounced off the sunlight that peaked through the window. She was wearing a black half-corset with a sky-blue peasent top underneath and a short black skirt. She also wore high black boots and a strap around her exposed right thigh that showed a beautiful dagger. Shana spotted Kiera quickly and smiled at her, "Are you," She looked down at the letter in her hand, "Keria?"
She felt slightly ackward about asking such a stupid question, but she hadn't been in Night World that long and it was hard to know everyone.

"I am!" Shana said warmly, grasping her hand briefly before letting go. She sat down on one of the round tables, ignoring the chair in front of her. "It's very nice to meet you, I'm sorry that we've never met until now!" 'She seems nice, but something is obviously on her mind...' Shana thought as she examined Kiera's facial expression.
"So, what's this about? Anything wrong?" Shana asked, concern in her voice.

Keira smiled and leaned against the table she was at. Crossing her arms, Keira bit her bottom lip, taking in Shana's appearance.
Keira swept her hair out of her face and sighed.
"Do you know who Kaden Torrik is?" Keira asked, her eyes watching Shana.
Keira didn't know what to expect out of this meeting, but what she did know was that she hoped Kiya was wrong, and Kaden was right.

"Kaden? Sure, I know him." Shana said, trying to understnad where this was going. Did it have something to do with Donner...? She hoped not, but then, what could she be getting at?
"Why, is there something wrong with him?" Shana asked haistly, searching her face for any sign of what she was really thinking. Shana saw nothing, only the pretty face that was Keira's normal expression. She did look a little nervous, but she wasn't quite sure why.

Keira let out the breath she didn't realize she was holding. She let her face reflect her current state, which was a mix of anxiety, distraught, and even a little bit of curiousity.
"Alright," Keira said taking a deep breath. "I don't want to drag this out, so I'll just get it over with."
Keira looked into Shana's eyes and bit her lip before asking, "Do you have feelings for Kaden?"

Shana was taken completly offguard. A blank gaze fell over her face as she thought about it. After a few moments, she forced a smile and looked up over at her, "Well - I - I haven't really thought about it."
"I mean, sure, I do like him as a friend, but... we've been though a lot recently." She felt like she could be completly honest with Keira, for some reason. "I've been in the service of a very, um, demanding Demi-God named Amon for the past year or so. It wasn't... a very good thing, he was threatening to destory my soul if I didn't destroy the god of Death, Astaroth." She knew it was a lot to take in, so she paused for a moment, letting Keira catch up.
"Kaden... He really helped me. We went to the Underworld together and defeated Astaroth - but it cost my life." She smiled, despite the strange statement. "But then, KJaden helped me wake up. I guess... I do have have feelings for him." 'I couldn't give it much thought, espically after what happened to Raphael... How could I ever learn to love someone again...'
"Shana snapped out of her dazed mode and looked straight at Keira, "He set me free - and I did the same for him."

Keira looked at Shana, guilt ripped at her insides. She nodded, signaling that she understood everything Shana was saying.
"Um... Since you've been gone, you might want to know something about Kaden." Keira held back her tears as the ring on her hand began to glow faintly. She slipped it off and put it in her pocket.
"Donner is back," Keira said simply, running her hands through her hair.
"And it's worse than before."

Shana hadn't noticed the way Keira had broken up until she sa the tears in her eyes. She understood why she needed to meet now. "Again... but we..." She began, thinking over what had happened before.
They had gone straight into Kaden's soul and purged Donner from there. They had destroyed him... hadn't they? When she looked back now, she didn't see any way he could have survived - she ahd seen him die with her own eyes. Unless...
"It wasn't really him, was it...?" She asked to herself. But this wasn't time to be keeping things to herself - "What's been happening?"

Keira shook her head and looked at Shana.
"The book was destroyed, the one that held Donner. But some how he came back even after both of you..." Keira trailed off taking a deep breath and letting it out shakily.
"Donner is fusing his soul with Kaden. If Kaden can't fight against Donner and win, then Donner will... well..." Keira shrugged, letting Shana fill the blank.

Shana banged her leg against the chair, making it fall over before her. She felt horriable - it was her fault. They hadn't really taken Donner out, she had just created a flase hope for Kaden. She sighed deeply, covering her eyes with her palm.
Shana took a deep breath, held back the tears, and said quietly, "I have to go back inside of him... it's the only way we can get rid of him... but this time, I'll make sure that he's gone." Her voice was sincere, but it was full of doubt. The last time she had dove into his soul, Kaden had insisted on comming with - but this time, she alone would be the one to go. If he even allowed her to try again...

"Let me help!" Keira said suddenly. "Please... I've been trying to help him while you've been gone, and we haven't found anything effective enough."

Shana opened her eyes and tore her hand away from her eyes - "I can't! Last time he almost died because I performed a joint Soul Purification ritual! It's too risky for either of you!" Shana had jsut errupted, taking out her anger on Keira.
She stopped, holding her hand in front of her mouth. Of coarse - how could she have known that was a touchy subject for her, they had only just met. "I'm so sorry..." Shana said quietly, shaking her head. "I've been... under a lot of stress latley..." But that was no excuse to just go off on someone, espically Keira. She didn't know what was happening to her powers, and she was just looking out for someone she cared for.

Keira's face went into a state of determination.
"I came to you for two reasons. I did the first already. Now I'm asking you to help Kaden. I have powers of my own, stronger than you'd think possible. Please, let me help."
Keira's eyes were full of hidden secrets that she shared with Kaden, and for some reason Keira had the urge to spill them all to Shana. They both felt the same for Kaden, and he helped both of them, though in seperate ways.
"I owe him so much. Please, let me help."
