Cora ordered her third drink from the bartender feeling a little giddy by this time. No matter how many times she left she always seemed to end up back in Night World. She sashayed over to the jukebox and picked number three. As the music filled the room she looked around to notice everyone with their nose in their drinks.
"Well, aren't we a fun bunch? What happened to this place?" She shrugged her shoulders as she finished off her drink and walked out onto the dance floor swinging her arms and moving her hips to the music.

Skyler shoved the doors to the club open and scanned the room. "OK, all you stupid, drunk ass people, listen up. Party's over." Skyler looked at Cora on the dance floor, alone. Then at all the people at the tables and at the bar. "What? Out of all the people here, you couldn't get anyone to dance with you? Damn." Skyler formed a fireball and threw it at one guy's feet. "Just because you don't want to dance with her doesn't mean I won't make you dance with her."

Cora stopped dancing as she looked at the man who had abruptly entered the room. She noticed the fire burning at the feet of the man at the bar and cupped her hands together creating a water bubble and let it go to pop over the fire putting it out.
"You know, instead of causing a scene, you could of just come over to dance with me." She giggled, creating a second water bubble and letting it pop over the mans head as a light mist fell down on him. "You seemed like you could use some cooling down."

Skyler looked confused. There were only a couple people in Night World who would even speak up for themselves to Skyler, yet this one was almost welcoming him. He walked over to her and started dancing. "Even though I'm probably to young to matter in the world, I guess I don't need to make a scene, do I?"

Cora laughed. "I see. Well, I'm known as the girl that throws rocks in people's faces... by accident of course. Actually by now I'm probably not known at all anymore. I've been gone a while."

"That's ok, I just got here not too long ago. Well, about 3 months ago when I was 12. But, you know, you can make deals with the right people and suddenly they make you 16 in full control of your magic and things kind of change."

"Kane wants me to get a message out he won't be crossed. At first, he wanted me to destroy Eli. When I couldn't, he sent me on a mission, where he aged me so that when I came back, I'd have full control of my powers. But now it seems Kane wants to work with Eli to save the world. I don't know."

"Yeah, that's what Eli says too. Well, when he wasn't stopping me from trying to kill him, anyways. I don't know, it's just that no one has cared enough about me to help me in any way, except for one person who is now gone. So, I guess I trust people I shouldn't and don't allow myself to get close to those who might be better to trust."

Cora squished up her face at the boy, and elbowed him in the side. "Don't get all mushy on me now. I'm pretty trust worthy, and I give good advice. I'm a little slow sometimes, but other than that I'm good. I'll be your substitute big sis. How's that?"
