In The Middle Of A Myth

[Jaira]

She sat in the Myth, watching the sad happenings of the people around her. By her left a lady sobbed about a lost love, to her right a man muttered about his collapsed empire of wealth, and here she was right in the middle of it all.

She`d never been here before. Usually when Jaira was lost she ran, but at the moment the wolf was too tired for anything more then sitting around and drinking. The dreams were getting worse and she had no leads whatsoever. Not even a partner to talk it over with since the fight weeks before.
She couldnt even remember what had happened there.

Another scull of the burning stuff and she forgot even more.

[Skyler Canaan]

Skyler walked into the club and took a seat at the end of the bar. "Give me something that'll make me go numb."

"Son, I know you're not old enough to be drinking," the bartender said, shaking his head at Skyler.

That set the young wizard off, and he climbed over the bar and grabbed the bartender by the throat, his hand immersed in flames, in an attempt to either seriously injure or kill the bartender. "I don't care, and if you value your life, you'll give me what I want," Skyler said, before letting go.

[Elisa]

Elisa had never been to the club, but she was told this was where all the action was at night so she decided to see for herself. When she walked in and sat at the bar, she saw someone about her own age ask for a drink. When the bartender refused to serve him, boy began to try and kill him. Elisa looked around and it seemed no one was really paying attention. Then he let go.

Elisa saw that the bartender wouldn't be able to stand up for himself and she was sick and tired of people being bullies. She snapped. With an athleticism she didn't know she had, Elisa jumped over the bar and landed in front of the boy. She shoved him, putting some electric shock into her hands. "Just who do you think you are that you can go around and do whatever the hell you want?" she asked him angrily.

[Skyler Canaan]

"I'm more powerful than you, that's for sure," Skyler said as he stood up. He grabbed the soda dispenser gun and shot a blast of cola in her face, "and smarter around the bar." He set it down as he approached her. "And I suggest you stay out of things that don't involve you, before I'm forced to seriously hurt you," he said, allowing flames to engulf his hands.

[Jaira]

"I`ve got a feeling she`ll be able to handle your outbursts quite well", Jaira spoke over her glass, nodding towards Elisa with the slightest hint of amusement, "She just jumped an entire bar".

[Skyler Canaan]

"She can try and kill me if she wants, it doesn't matter, because it won't happen. And besides," Skyler said, taking a quick glance at Jaira before settling back on Elisa, "she shouldn't be in my business trying to get a drink." Skyler then shot out Jaira's glass with a fireball he lobbed into the top of it, which caused a minor explosion as the alcohol ignited.

[Alledyra]

It wasn't often that Dyra drank anything other than plain water...but tonight she felt the want, so she went to the nearest club. Expecting the place to be quiet, she watched a fireball explode on a woman's glass as the door swung closed behind her, and blinked. A man moaned faintly behind the bar, and she slipped back to see him lying on the floor, burn and scortch marks marring his neck and face. He was obviously in pain, as she knelt down beside him, slowly.

She could heal him here, or try to get him another healer. Her gift flickered to life inside her, and she shook her head, trying to clear it, as she looked at the older man, her voice wavering, "Is there healer here?" She called out, as her hand started to move towards the bartender...

[Skyler Canaan]

Skyler smiled. If he was going down, he was taking many people with him. "Doesn't matter if there is or not. I'm not letting anyone heal him until he gives me what I want. Or at least agrees to."

[Elisa]

"Like hell," Elisa said, walking over to where the man was. "I am sick of you bullies who think that just because you can have power over people means that you are entitled to something." Elisa crouched down, laying one hand on the man's neck, keeping her eyes on Slyler. She knew he was going to try something, so she stopped healing for a moment to form a ball of electricity in her hand.

[Skyler Canaan]

"Whatever, Elisa, you believe what you want with your little electric balls. See, this is how it works. I'm pissed off, you're in my way, that bartender was in my way, and there is so much alcohol here, and there is a lot of high proof liquor here. Meaning, if I was so inclined, I can blow this place sky high to the point where nothing will remain but a pile of ashes. So, get out of my way or I'll prove it to you and everyone here."

[Jaira]

"Look kiddo", Jaira sighed, a little pissed at the loss of her drink, and stood to pull her coat on. "I think the last thing you need now is alcohol, your mind seems twisted enough. Kinda sad to see in a young kid".

[Skyler Canaan]

Skyler stopped, Jaira's words hitting him like a ton of bricks. He slumped down to the ground with feelings of lonely, anger, and confusion setting in. He had always been aggressive, but it had been a means to an end. He was officially out of control and letting the hurt and anger take over. He reached up, finding the nearest bottle, which happened to be half full, opened it, and drank it down as quickly as he could. When he was done, he threw down the bottle and passed out.

[Jaira]

She looked to Elisa, "When your done with the bartender you might wanna have a look at this one too. He`s probably just about exhausted himself"

[tamuril]

Tam laughed walking over to the girls. "What's goin on here? Don't tell me you were gonna leave me out of the fun...." She grinned unaware of what was going on.

Her eyes flickered down to the ground spying the bartender and Skyler slumped unconscious. "What happened!" She gasped kneeling down beside the boy.

[Alledyra]

Dyra watched the girl kneel down by the bartender, and slowly backed up, slipping easily into the shadows to hide her own flickering over her arms. She looked at the boy curiously, and watched as Tamuril entered the bar, knelt down beside him and asked what happened...now might not be the time for her to be seen. Not with her gift running rampant through her. Thanking the darkness that clung to the corners, she slowly made her way to the back, intending to simply slip out while everyone was preoccupied...
