A meeting with Destiny

[Kaden]

Kaden just about choked when he heard what she said; it was a surprise to say the least. He composed himself before she pulled Kratos into the room though, and stood up, figuring it'd be right. Looking at him for a long moment, the wizard finally let the side of his mouth curve into a slight smile that Cassandra had found a family member. "I suppose I can kinda see the resemblance, yeah." He said. "It's nice to meet you, I'm Kaden as I'm sure she's told you already."

[Kratos Cage]

"Yes, Cassandra has told me alot about you. It is nice to meet you too." Studying him very carefully, Kratos knew he could trust Kaden. "My sister has told me that you would be able to help us. I have lived my life to reveal my father for the monster he is. Now life has thrown me a curve. By meeting my sister and finding out who my mother was, I now have a new purpose. Revenge! I seek your guidance on the matter." Kratos stood silent, eagerly awaiting Kaden's response.

[Kaden]

"Well, I'm not just able to help you two, I plan to. And since we now know you're her brother, I'm assuming you're coming with us?" Kaden said moreso than asked, since he already knew the answer. "In which case, I've got something to show the both of you. I've been doing some digging of my own and you'll never guess what I found." He added, walking back behind his desk and opening the middle drawer. Pulling out what looked like rolled up paper, he unrolled it on his desk and gestured for the two to come closer. "Blueprints for the castle of a certain king. You can get anything for the right price in this place."

[Kratos Cage]

Kratos eagerly looking at the blueprints thought to himself, Kaden is everything Cassandra said he would be. He can't believe that the blueprints of his father's castle were laying before him. Thinking to himself for a while he finally spoke, "Are there any secret entrances? What is the plan?"

[Kaden]

"Therein lies the problem. There are a few different entrances that I've seen that are plausible, yeah." Kaden said. Pointing to the front of the castle, he continued. "This is the main entrance of the castle. Obviously not a good choice." The wizard then moved his finger to the middle of the ceiling of the main hall. "There's a slightly dangerous ventilation route that comes out right here. The only problem is that the king found out about it and had the chandelier moved to this spot. Now it'll either not open or the chandelier will come crashing down when it does open. Neither are viable choices for us."

Taking a deep breath, Kaden went on. "There's one that comes out directly behind the throne, but there's a security system in the throne room. Which leaves..." He trailed off, sliding his finger to the room right behind the throne room. "...Here. It's the only entrance into the castle that's actually a good idea. It leads into the room with the security system controls, which only leaves the guards as our obstacles."

[cassandra]

"Well, then...we have to time it so that we enter that room at exactly 11pm. At that time the guards are changing shifts...yes, that means there's more of them in the castle...but that's also the time that they're the least attentive. If Kaden goes first, and freezes them, then we've frozen most of the guards. What do you say baby?" Cassandra asked Kaden.

[Kaden]

"That works." Kaden agreed, nodding. "Just makes it a simple matter of mopping up the couple of guards I miss. If we do all this fast enough, we can take them all out before the dark wizard gets involved. Then we can gang up on him. Once we take him down, it's a walk in the park."

[cassandra]

"You make it sound like its a piece of cake! We came up against him before, and it wasn't cake!" As badly as Cassandra wanted to get her father off the throne...and save Night World...she still feared for Kaden. She knew they would go for Kaden first and foremost..because she loved him.

[Kaden]

"Yeah but we beat him. And even then it was just me, you and Merlin. Now we'll have a lot more help." Kaden said. "It can only get easier."

[cassandra]

"It was you and Merlin baby...I was useless!"

[Kaden]

"My point still stands."

[Kratos Cage]

"My sister. I will do everything in my power to make sure you two make it out alive. I will do whatever it takes. I may have not been able to save my mother or yours, but I stand here today and vow that you will not know that pain again. With the three of us together, Im know we will be victorious. I can sense the strength within the both of you. And I know this will work and our father will be no longer. I need to know of the dark wizard, who is he?"

[cassandra]

"While we were battling him in the library, his face briefly showed. His name is Melacham. I wasn't around him a whole lot as a child, but I always sensed that he...I'm not sure...hated me yet wanted something from me..at the same time. It confused me so I avoided him. He has great influence with our father, and some said was the real ruler rather than our father.

"Look, why don't we go into the backroom? I'll get Lilyrose to help me finish closing, and I'll make a few phone calls, and we can all meet and work out the details? Is that okay with you, Kade?"
