we have animals that make history... look at benji and Mr. Ed... does that mean they too were "all powerful" and decided to take a break...? using famous women doesn't support your argument because there are famous men as well...

Okay, so certain women did get power and/or make history in one way or another. Doesn't change the fact that ALL men had authority over women until a certain point in time. And it makes no sense listing the women who did important things, because I could probably name five men that did something equally as important for each woman.
And come on, you liked having a break from leadership roles? Gimme a break. Before women could vote, there was a very small number of women (mostly restriced to queens only) that had any kind of leadership. So exactly what was it you needed a break from?

Okay, I didn't want to get into this debate, but here goes. It really doesn't matter if men are percieved to be "in power" or women are either. The point being, gentlemen, that even if men are in power, in "the real world" women will always be in power in the bedroom. Unless of course, you are a (bleeped out for sensitive ears), in which case, you are so insecure with yourself you use a woman to force your wants. Now, because I don't think anyone here is a (again bleeped out for sensitive ears), you are all gentlemen, and listen to what your woman says in the bedroom. Now, that means, we ARE in control, even if it is only by that margin, and we choose not to misuse that margin, in our favor, and allow you to believe that you are in control...Follow me here, ladies?

I'll concede the point that women control the bedroom, if only for the fact that even though I feel sex should be a mutual thing, it usually is a female-controlled process.
But, if you're saying that that control would translate to control in the real world (outside the bedroom), then I'd have to disagree. And by misuse, what do you mean? Like, telling your man that he's not getting any until he does something for you?
