Kione was walking down an alley way when he saw this old barn and he slowly walked over to it and then he grabbed onto the door handle and slowly opened it then he slowly walked in and looked around and saw that no one was in there so he walked up to one of the places where they kept the hay and held his hand out "Silicis , orbis" And then rocks formed a half circle "Incendia Exuro" And the hay caught somewhat on fire but then went out "Gosh darn it, why won't my magic work?"

Mallai was sitting in the barn. She was sharpening her blades. She noticed someone walk in. It was a boy she had met, but never got his name. She jumped down, landing on her feet. "Maybe because, its a no moon night.." She said.

A black panther was sleeping in the loft of the barn. Someone came inside and she picked her head up, not liking this person invading her territory. She watched him for a few minutes, realizing he was a wizard. The panther crouched at the edge of the loft, her eyes glowing, ready to spring.

Mallai then looked at the panther. Her eyes scanning the shadow. Wandering. "Friend?" She said pointing toward the panther.

"I don't think thats it because they havent worked right for quite a while" he quickly turned his head to the panther and held out his hand "Pardus Informis!" And then the panther got the head of a human and its tail went away and the hands of a human but the rest was still panther

Mallai looked at the defprmed panther. She saw the person before, but didn't know her name. She stared into the eyes. She sensed it was a shapeshifter.

Drake was leaning in the doorway, looking at the screwed-up panther.
Suddenly he spoke, startling everyone inside.
"So, there was some reason that you tried to force that cat to change forms...Right?"

"Oh come on! A panther watching you.....you have no idea what it's planning, yet you'd just leave it alone?" Drake said as he finally walked in the barn.
"Anyway, now that we know she's a shapeshifter, shouldn't we just allow her to change back normally?"

For the first time, Drake takes a good look at the half-panther.
"You know, looking like that, it wouldn't even make a good pet. That's the kind of beast that people get nightmares about."
He then smirks.
"But lemme guess, you're such a hardass that you don't get nightmares either, do you?"
