She smiled and scratched him behind the ear. Selene felt the sun warming, no, burning her skin, she walked into the barn. "We'll have to stay in here again until dusk. I can't go out anymore." Selene looked for a very shaded spot and sat in it. It was the corner behind the huge hay pile. She sat down resting her head against the wall stroking Ender gently.
