"Why were guns outlawed?" Tamuril said, not that she minded, she didn't believe in using guns. "Stupid question" she said suddenly remembering what nw inhabitants were like. "With all the moody people around these parts the place would be under constant gunfire"

Cassiel nodded. "Yeah, pretty much. It was a scary place for awhile. I got shot at least once. It's better now, not that they haven't found other ways, but it is still better."

Cassiel shrugged, "I attacked someone. He made me angry. I had quite a temper, I've mellowed out a lot since then. It still comes back once in awhile." She pulled down the shoulder of her shirt, showing Tam and Kiya the scar on the front of her left shoulder where she got shot.
