A part of Kaden was hoping she didn't show. First time in his life he actually hoped a girl stood him up, but he did not want to tell Kiya what he had to tell her. But the part that forced him here, kept him here. She deserved to know. Glancing at the back wall of the barn, he could still see faint spots of blood from the last time the two had been in here.

The smile on Kiya's face made Kaden feel even worse about this. "Uh...Hey, you remember the first time we were in here and you wanted to learn ice magic?" He asked, trying to change the subject for now. "You got carried away with a spear and caught me in the stomach with it."

A little confused, Kiya allowed herself a small smile again, "Im just feeling great. Tsjata`s ecstatic to have a little brother or sister on the way. I told her this morning".

This wasn't working. Everywhere he tried to take this conversation, it kept coming back to the place he didn't want it to be. Eventually, he decided to come out with it. "Okay, screw this dancing around the subject. I called you out here for a reason and you might wanna brace yourself for it."
