Jetto watched as Star got up. "But didden't you just arrive back? Usually people are sleeping at this hour, the streets are empty, not a soul is up. I am sure they will be more then happy to see you tomorow, besides it's not exactly like they had a chance to plan a supprise party or anything."

Star stood there silently a moment looking at the stars above, after a moment she finely spoke but did not turn to look at Jetto when she did. " yes i did just get back, no one knows i am here becas i just arrived and i did not tell any one i was comeing back.... thing is even though it is dark, i normaly run into them at this time of night....." she trailed off and slowly looked back at Jetto her eyes flashed a bright blue color as she
meet his eyes with hers
Stars eyes showed her true past one of which showed hardship and sorrow of happiness and peace, but most of all the pain she had gone through. The moonlight shown in on her makeing her look older than she realy was as she stood there quietly lisening the the night sounds "it's going to rain soon" Star replyed quietly as she let her gaze wonder back to the clear nigh sky which looked as though it was not going to rain....

Jetto glanced up at the clear sky before looking back at Star. "Looks pretty clear out to me, but maybe thats why everyone is at home instead of bumping into you, I never wsa a great judge of the weather. How long were you gone for?" Jetto asked curiously.

just befor Star turned to look back at Jetto a flash of lightning struck not to far away and all of a sudden rain started to pour down hard on the roof of the old barn they were both in... Star looked over at Jetto and said quietly "it has been almost 5 years now sence i left here" Star walked over to the pile of hay next to Jetto and sat down quietly "how long you been in these parts?" she asked him with her gaze still on the night sky which by now was comepletle dark with clouds.... (not realy 5 years but it seems like it sence i have not been on in a long time  haha) |

Jetto gave a slight laugh. "Okay, so you were right about the rain." Then he looked over at Star. "You have been gone for five years? Well no wonder you haven't seen anyone they probably don't expect you to ever come back. What made you want to? I mean I have been inquiring about certain people during my time here and I bet they would welcome you back with open arms, but people change time and five years is a while, I bet your not the same person you were when you left." Jetto said as the lightning flashed through a window in the barn.

Star met his gaze for a moment and when the lightning flashed she spoke in a voice that was almost a wisper "that is true.... the reasn i came back is becas this place is the only true place i call home. yes i have changed a little , but to my friends it might seem like a lot, tell me how long have you been here? i cant help the filling that i have met you some were befor but where and when are beyond me..." Star slowly turned her gaze back out side as the rain still pourded out side.

Jetto looked at Star for a second before looking back out at the lightning and rain. "Well I am sure your friends will be more then happy to see you. Thats the way people are around here, some of them are just.....so...............happy." Jetto said with a slight shutter. "I guess thats what draws people here though, they think they can hide from there problumes here. For some it works. Others relize their problumes will follow them no matter where they go."

they sat there in the silince of the night lisening to the poundding of the rain out side Stars mind wirled with thoughts of her past and what Jetto had said to her only moments ago. "people change over time, have i changed so much that i my self do not understandthe meaning of my return?" she sat there wondering to herself and under her breath said "one will never know till it happens"

Jetto gave a slight smirk. "Unless one is controlling the sequence of events to their advantage. But how often do you here of something as diabalical as that. Eithere way there is a reason for everything you might never know what it is, but I can assure you their is alwasy more then one hand to play in everything."

Star smiled slightly at what he said and looked over at Jetto... "so tell me what was your name agin?" Star keeped her gaze on him for a while longer befor finely turning away and started to did through her small pack she had found durning her long trip.

Jetto smirked. "In order for me to tell you my name again, I would have to tell you a first time, and if I were to do that it would not only make my pressence known it would make me much less interisting. Anyways, I am much more curious about you then I am myself, you seem to have this self defeting image of your self. You think no one wants you, yet this is the one place you feel safe and here you are. Makes one wonder if it's your own insecuritys that bring you comfort." Jetto said with a look of curiosity.

Star was taken a back by what Jetto had said and had to stop to think his words over a moment. slowly she turned twords him her face showed no emotion in it and was as tho her own spirit had left her. "when you have been on your own for as long as i have all you have is your self douts , even if you have close friends who love you dearly and would risk there life for you." while she keeped his gaze she slowly pulled something out of her pack till finely she pulled outa small book. tossing it over to him she said to him "read it ... it is the only thing i keeped with me during my jureny here and here is were it will end " slowly what ever crossed over her slowly faded from her face till all that showed was a very tired Star....

Jetto cought the book and looked at it for a moment before putting in in his pockett when Star wasn't looking, then he looked back at Star. "But if all you have is your self, then isn't that the only thing you have to believe in? I mean if your used to most other people not careing then what does it matter what they think? BUT maybe it's not people abandoning you that your afraid of, maybe it's your afraid that they are going to be there for you and they are going to care and not leave at the first chance they get. Love is a very powerfull emotion, one that should not be taken lightly or trusted. People can be blinded by it and become someone compleatly different then before ya know it your worst fear is coming true."
