It did take me a while to try and work out what date Eli meant for the revamp closing....as I'm thinking but surely he has written a typo as there are only 12 months in the year ,not 17,then I remembered the american date layout is different from everywhere else in that you guys put month then day..not day then month like we do here in UK,Europe etc....can any of you from America explain why you guys do it that way and not the normal way ?

possibly tami,then again you lot down under use same way we do day/month/year ...perhaps its this need to be awkward,and different....

Because it's the more common way to say the date here (I don't know how it's done elsewhere) where the month comes first, then the date (i.e. November 17th) than the other way around (the 17th of November). I think we do it because it is straight forward shorthand for how we say it.

nah most places use day/month/year, i know this because in Australia we learn about other countries.

and america is the lonesome country that uses month then date.....uk,europe,asia,australia are all day/month year america is month then day.....

yeah it made me laugh so hard when i saw all that hype about obama being labelled a muslim OMGSOH HIS MIDDLE NAME IS HUSSEIN? HOLY CRAP - he must be in league with the devil.....
its really weird how like in america religion is part of politics, in australia i can't ever remember a single election campaign where god was mentioned. if they did people would prolly be like ahh wtf?
