Here are all the consequences for breaking the rules. Jury and prison descriptions are at the bottom.
1. Each person may have 2 characters on the board. However, each character for use on the main board must have their own account. Creation of 3rd account results in deletion of that character.
2. No double posting or spamming. After two warnings, you are in jail for 2 days. After that, it is 3 days for each additional time.
3. Please keep the site PG-13. After 2 warnings sentence will be decided on by a jury.
4. You only have the powers of your race. Don't try to create new ones. All ideas can go to the admins or ideas board* After one warning, you will be sentenced to one week in jail. If it continues, you will receive a warning on your account and a grand jury will decide your sentence
5. You can't kill anyone. Capture, injure, harm to the brink of death yes. Killing, no. * After one warning, you will be sentenced to one week in jail. If it continues, you will receive a warning on your account and a grand jury will decide your sentence. In addition, the death of the character will be null and void.
6. You are not all powerful, you cannot automatically decide that you will win a fight or a battle. * After one warning you will be sentenced to one week in jail. If it continues that, a jury of your peers will decide on your sentence.
7. Listen to what the admins and mods tell you. After one warning, you will be sentenced to one week in jail. If it continues, the admins and mods will decide on additional sentencing.
8. Just use your common sense. If you think you shouldn't be doing something, don't do it. After 2 warnings a sentence will be decided on by a jury. This will be at least one day in jail.
9. The use of guns is not allowed. After one warning, you will be sentenced to one week in jail. If it continues, you will receive a warning on your account and a grand jury will decide your sentence. In addition, the death of the character will be null and void.
10. Do not instruct people by using the board, as to who is supposed to participate in a thread. After one warning you will be sentenced to one week in jail. If it continues, a jury of your peers will decide on your sentence.
11. No random destruction. If there is a purpose to your thread being destructive (read Eli's "Firestarter" thread as an example of how the rule works), let the admins know why you're causing destruction. If we disapprove of the reason, do not start the thread. After one warning, you will be sentenced to one week in jail. If it continues, you will receive a warning on your account and a grand jury will decide your sentence.
12. Do NOT personally attack anyone on the board. Attacking characters in a thread is one thing, attacking members is another. You will get an automatic warning on your account for this. This will result in immediate jail time of 3 days. There will then be a trial to decide if additional measures need to be taken.
Jail
If you are sent to jail for violation of rules, you can only post in the jail for the set amount of time. You may have people visit you or you can post with others who are in jail at the same time as you are.
Trial
One admin/mod will always act as judge. The trial will take place in a password-protected area.
Jury Definitions
Jury- The accused chooses a juror, as does the admin/mod team.
Grand Jury- The accused chooses 2 jurors, approved by the admin/mod team. The admin/mod team chooses 2 jurors. As many admins/mods as are around will also participate.
Jury of Your Peers- Anyone involved in the thread in question. If there was only one other person involved, an admin or mod will also join the jury.
