Eli heard rumors. Rumors so earth-shattering, in fact, they had to be researched. Rumor had it that the twins had left the town after losing many of their followers. Eli had never heard that before, but it was a rumor brought up in his travels. He knew that there was no one that could control Kane, so Kane could possibly still be there.
Eli kept the hood of his sweatshirt up over his eyes. On his face sat a pair of goggles with red lenses with a small lens on the side. Eli looked at the book. It was clear in front of him. Their father had locked them up before as a result of the stones being found. Their war lingered on, and he couldn't bear to see people doing the dirty work of his children, so he disguised himself as them and collected all the stones, either by free will or force, and scattered them around the world. They were usually found here and there, and some found a few, but they were usually discarded as junk stones and had all used the magic in them to come together in Night World. But they couldn't come together of their own power, so they stayed in hiding until people found them and brought them together.
Eli was intrigued.

Cassiel slipped into the seat next to Eli. She was wearing her usual black outfit, with one addition- a pair of silver mirrored sunglasses. Taking them off she gave Eli a quick kiss and said, "I just got back, they couldn't help either. So what are you finding out?" Cassiel put the sunglasses back on. She didn't want anyone else to know of her problem just yet.

Tate slipped silently into the library. He, like many others it seemed, had recently been out of town, though he wasn't sure anyone even noticed that he was gone. It showed that he hadn't been out in a while though. His face was prickly of not being shaven in a while, and it eyes slightly bloodshot. He knew that Cass and Eli had come in here, which was a reason that he was there also, he hadn't talked to them in quite a while, and he had no idea of what was going on.
He walked closer to them silently, noticing that Eli seemed to be trying to research something. He didn't want to interupt them, so he just stood, watching them from about 20 feet away, in plain site to them, but not saying a word, waiting for them to finish their conversation and/or research, so that he did not interupt.
((If this isn't the thread you were talking about, then I will be happy to delete my post.))

"It seems this whole situation has played out before, minus Kane," Eli looked at her with a serious expression on his lips. He looked around, and noticed Tate and waved him over. "The twins vanish, seemingly leaving their followers, but their father puts them into a slumber. It's almost a game to all of them, it seems. So it's possible that the Stones were a bunch of work signifying nothing. But Osric will want them back. So we have to be wary of that. Also, we still have to beware of Kane, whose power will become more unchecked than ever with no one around who can control him."

Cassiel waved at Tate as she listened to Eli talk. His discovery didn't really surprise her, not with everything the gods had put them through, but they made her mad. "Oh hell no. After all they put us through finding those stones. No way, no how. It seems like our only hope now is Kane. He's the only one who's stayed, and may be the only one who can help us hide the stones."

Tate walked closer to the table, lightly pulling out the chair slightly, only enough for his thin body to be able to sit down in it. He listened to the last bit of what they each had to say, as he shook his head lightly. It was just like them (Aslin and Akando). He had only been a member of chaos a short time, but he had already gotten on the wrong side with Akando, after having the incident with Sharir, and then being stood up in the meeting with him.
"Not like we have ever meant anything to them, but now we know that we have meant even less than we thought. So we're all pawns in Osrics game?"
He asked this in a question sense because since he had come in at the end of the conversation he wasn't quite sure. The rebellion hadn't gone very far, but now it looked as if it was quickly come to an end, or a change of directions at least.

"Almost, but not quite. Osric just lets them play, and for them, that means playing in people's lives. He just tries to clean their messes for them. And as for Kane, he knows what is up for grabs right now. If he had all the stones, he would be immensly more powerful than he is now."

Cassiel looked thoughtfully at Eli and Tate, and then at the book Eli was looking in. "I think what we need to do is focus in on Kane. He's the only unknown factor in this whole thing. Eli, you said this has happened before, but without Kane. What if we can somehow get him on our side?"

"The question is how. The gods don't have any control of him as they do of full-blodded gods. He has messed with the power of time before. We also don't know if we can even trust him." ELi knew that may have been the best option, given what he wasn't telling them. He looked at both of them, and decided to tell the rest. "Osric has killed people who have crossed him before, and he won't hesitate to do it again."

Tate nodded, thinking about it thoroughly, though he did not want to admit it, but Kane did seem like there best hope. He did not like Kane, and he knew that Kane didn't like many of them, but he didn't see another way around it.
"Kane hasn't liked most of us since the beginning, why would he change his mind and help us now?"
He didn't want to seem arguementative, but it was the truth, Kane just plane didn't like them.

"Oh hell. Well in that case, we'd better get Kane on our side. Or at least so that he isn't against us. There's no way any of us could stand up to the leader of the gods, even with all the stones." Cassiel put her head in her hands. From that position, with her voice somewhat muffled she said, "How the hell did we get ourselves in the middle of this again?"

"Do you think the gods are that stupid?" A fremiliar voice said to Cassiel and Eli. " Dont underestimate the power you have together.." The voice continued and soon apeared in the open near the trio. "The gods try and take the artifacts from one another to tip the balance in that gods favor, should that be any diffrent then the combined strength of many?" Ender said. "We are only in the middle as long as we think we have no power over any of this is my oppinion. So how far am i off on my evaluation?"

"I wouldn't say too far off, except for 1 thing. The gods have powers that even an army of many can't begin to touch, and that includes deception beyond any mortal's comprehension," ELi said, looking up and spotting Ender. "We may not be in the middle, per-se, but my be peripherally pulled in if either one tries to take the stones. And that is at best. At worst, we're all open for attack with no defense and the stones are gone."

"there is a weakness to every plan, and we have no plan yet..." Ender said calmly. "there is a loophole to everything we just need to find it and exploit that hole.." Ender shifted his weight and crossed his arms.

"EXPLOITING HOLES?!" Princess Boobie exclaimed waddling into the library, her blue feet slapping on the marble flooring. "Now that sounds like my kind of game boys!" She winked, her wings flapping sensually, causing her Birkin bag to bounce around violently.
"Unfortunately I only let fellow male Blue Footed Boobie's exploit MY hole!" She prattled on. "But please...don't let that stop you from exploiting each others holes darrrrrlings!" She cried, swinging her Birkin bag over her shoulder, she waddled out of the library....and into the night....
