Her pretty face still showing concern, Arjani dropped her arm to her side.
"Do you do much of this healing?" She asked, "Do others know that you do this?"
This place was a far cry from the world she had left if wizards were allowed free rein. It bore further inspection. In her mind, if she could free herself from the curse that had been hooked into her very being, the possibility existed that she could live happily here.
Introspection aside, she continued her questions, "What is this place? Can you tell me why I'm here?"

Malachi smiled sweetly to her.
"Well, I don't actually do that much healing. Healing is more of a Mystic Warrior thing. I am not one, but I can still heal, but only to an extent. As for where you are..."
He looked around slowly.
"You are in the Paragon Hotel."
He grinned to her.
"And I have no idea how you got here. Did you walk?"

Arjani gave him a flat look and then pulled herself up to stand by the window. The scene outside was as rustic as they came. The grey day etched her form in shadows and a wan light. She turned back to Malachi.
"I understand that I am in the Paragon Hotel, but where is the Paragon Hotel? What time? What world?" Her expression was harried, "I need to known the when, you see, since I am not from this reality. I am beyond your time and space and I'm so very far from home."
To hide her emotions, she again stared out the window and into the street below.
"As for how I came here, well, I don't know, but it certainly wasn't by any of the usual means."
