Alright. Here is where you may discuss anything related to the 4th movie.
Disclaimer: If anyone reading this thread has not seen it and is angry about having things ruined for them, the thread subject said spoiler alert for a reason.
Anyway, I thought it was the best movie so far. Yes, there were some things missing, but everything that needed to be there was in some extent or another (unlike the last movie, which I won't get in to). But, I absolutely loved it. I was lucky enough to see it the day after it opened, but I want to go again. Yay Harry Potter! I think my favorite part was.... umm.... I don't even know, it was all so good. Tee hee, the part when Harry was in the prefect bathroom, that was funny. Who else cried at the end, when Harry comes out with Cedric's body, cause I know I definitely did. That whole scene with Voldemort was very nicely done. Hmmm, let's see, some things that bothered me (a little) was the whole death eater's scene with the burning of the tents and such. They could have just as easily done it the way it was supposed to be done. Though, I do know why they didn't. The only other thing that I can think of right now was the first task and how the dragon chased Harry around the school grounds. Yes, it did make it more exciting, but I just wasn't thrilled with it. Overall, I loved it. I can't wait till it comes out on DVD.

I'm going to see it again today. Mwahahaha. Why that is evil I do not know. ANYWAY I totally agree with the tent burning thing! What the hell was that about! Pyromaniacs *rolls eyes* How scary were the death eaters though *shudders* Voldemort looked gay, literally. CEDRICCCCC!!! OMG That was beyond sad, and Harry was sobbing on him and everyone was cheering coz they thought they were fine and the moment when it sunk in GOD okay getting all emotional *deep breath* and then when Mr Diggory saw him and he was crying that broke my heart. What the hell was up with Dumbledore! I miss the old one so much *sighs* this one kept spitting, did anyone else notice that? HOW GOOD WAS THE BIT WHERE THE SCHOOLS WERE INTRODUCED and they all did their little show off thing, lol at Hermiones face when the girls came in. God Krum was gorgeous. NEVILLE OMG I swear I'm going to marry Neville he's so... *squeals* cute. THEY DIDN'T DO THE QUIDDITCH MATCH *grinds teeth* that's my one beef with this one I was sitting there all excited out of my mind with the build up and then it cuts back to the tent I was like whaaaaaaaaaaaa *looks lost*

Haha. Oh well, I didn't cry, but it was really sad. But yeah. I really liked the movie too, I think it was my favorite out of all three so far too. One thing that made me sad was that I wanted to see the sphinx in the last task though... and it wasn't in there. But oh well, I'll get over it. And yes like you said, they left things out, but I mean come on... they do it in every movie, you have to expect it, you know it's going to happen, get over it! Look at it as a movie... just based on the book, it's really good lol.
One thing that actually does bother me though, it Dumbledore. I think they cast him completely wrong the second time. I think the first one they had was a good one. But once he died, and they got another one... he just isn't as good. He looks really scraggly, and is way way too agressive... in the books Dumbledore is just really calm and everything... but Dumbledore like screams in the movie...
((Just to let you know... I posted this like two seconds after Tam, that's why we may have covered the same things.))

Yeah, the new Dumbledore was all RAWR RAWR in this movie, actually physically attacking Harry and stuff. I was all like  .....That's not DD. But yeah, most of the stuff that they did take out, I knew they had time constraints so I was okay with it. The movie was still awesome...but I did notice that some of you seem to not like Prisoner of Azkaban. Funny, I loved that one too. |

I really like the Prisoner of Azkaban too. It was my favorite before this one came out ^_^. I do like it a lot. But yeah... it's amazing, lol

Nahh ahhh I love POA but it's too dark, plus it killed me watching that guy they try to pass off as Dumbledore acting. He's nothing like Dumbledore. DUMBLEDORE IS NOT BLOODY IRISH. Or whatever his accent is, Scottish, Irish whatever. It's so stupid. He yells and now he spits and can't keep his hands to himself. What's next, projectile vomit.

I agree this was definatly the best one yet, and they HAD to leave stuff out considering it was already like 3 hours long. anyways, it's been so long sence i even looked at the book that i didden't rember most of what they left out. although i was compleatly dumbfounded that they left out my favorit chara DOBBY. he, if i rember correctly was supposed to give harry the plant stuff so he could breath under water. i might be wrong on that (somone els has my book) but i do know he had a small part in the book somwhare. I also agree that this Dumbledoor wasen't the best choice, and if the moive wassen't so good i might dwell on it more BUT he does die in two more moives sooo we relly won't have to worry about it for too much longer. (hides from all the dumbledoor fans) alll and all it ws definatly the best HP moive yet.

Dobby was the one who gave Harry the gillyweed in the book, but they cut the whole thing with the house elves altogether because of time constraints. (I read that in Entertainment Weekly). Which I think, is the reason why they changed that beginning part after the Quidditch World Cup.
And no Kaden, I really wasn't a fan of PoA. That was, and is, my favorite book but I was disappointed with the movie. They cut and changed around some important things and then had some things in there that were just pointless (random nature scenes anyone?) It was a good movie if that's all it was, but the rest of the movies have managed to be a lot closer to the books.
I did want to see the sphinx and the riddle in the movie, but I read somewhere that the director didn't want to do too much with the CG animation. And I don't like the new Dumbledore either. He is way too aggressive, like everyone else says. But, there is nothing we can do about it.
I'm surprised no one has said anything about the Yule ball. I thought that it was absolutely gorgeous and the bit with Ron and the dress robes was brilliant.

LOL Ron was a total babe in those dress robes. Patil is an attention seeker I never liked her. *shakes head* deg, deg. Poor Hermione, stupid Ronald (Ron I don't mean it  jks) Hermione and Krum are so cute, pity he didn't have a brain, not that that really matters, as long as he has a good heart. HAGRID AND MADAM MAXIME are SO cute. Except for that bit where she ate from his beard, my friend thought that was cute, it was I guess but still weird. So glad they cut out the whole giant issue between them, they're to perfect for each other to waste time squabbling over nonsense like that. OMG I love that bit where Ron's telling Harry how he indirectly told him about the dragons and Ron's like "I thought everything would be cool...once you figured that out." And Harry's like. "Ron..How could anyone figure that out?" Or something. Genius. Those damn hedges freak me out. HOW BIG WAS THE MAZE. So cute when I went to see it again today with my little sister and when she saw the maze she was all. *gasps* Omg! That bit where Cedrics dads crying is so horrible. Okay here's my major beef besides Dumbledore. WHY may I ask is HERMIONE all over HARRY?!!!  ?!!! WRONGO! It's Hermione and RONALD. Not harry. Sheesh that was disappointing they were so cute in POA. Oh that reminded me of Neville. What a cutie, god love him. |

Yeah, Hermione was a bit over Harry, but I guess she just couldn't wait for the scene to be over to start snogging  lol. I saw a picture of Daniel and Emma at the preview for HP 4, and Daniel was looking down Emma's dress, and had like the hugest grin on his face... it was hillarious. |

I just saw a special on the movie yesterday or the day before and they were showing some scenes and Tam, I totally understand what you were saying about Dumbledore being way too aggressive. I remember thinking that when I saw the movie but forgot all about it cause of all the good things.

Yaaaaaaa. Dubledoor2 is definatly like one of thouse grand fatheres that accedently choke you everytime they give somone a hug, but i guess sence the next moive aspecially is going to be relly dark and sad watching dumbledoor2 yelling, spitting and atmpting to act all wise will add some humer. but not as much as that sence with Ron and Harry as Tam pointed out. "Ron..How could anyone figure that out?" . i guess i can get over them cutting out the house elvs thoug (Hermoine would find it outragous) considering theres a ton of them in the next moive. can't wait to see Sirious Blanks Elf.
