Brief history: Cassandra was raised the daughter of a king, but an ill chosen romance iwth a peasant caused her father to throw her out of his home, and his kingdom, and to imprison her lover,. Thinking him to be dead, Cassandra moved on with her life as best she could.
Learning that he was alive, and living in Night World, she went to find him. The relationship proved to be as disastrous as her father had predicted it to be, and ended soon after their reunion.
Deciding to stay in Night World, she met Kaden Torrick, who was engaged to another, but that didn't stop her wanting him. She didn't bargain on falling in love with him, but she did. The drama that resulted from that caused her to leave Night World, but she stayed in touch with certain people there, and learning of Kaden's engagemennt being called her off has led her back.....
