Selene walked into the club not looking up at anyone. Her eyes were all puffy and her nose was running. Selene sat down at a table in the corner. Everything that had happend that night was flooding back into her mind. Selene had tears coming down her face again.

Selene wiped her eyes and looked up. The club was practically empty. She saw Ender sitting a ways away from her. Seeing him didn't help how she was feeling at all. Selene looked back down. A waitress came up to her and asked her what she wanted. Selene mumbled that she wanted a milkshake, but when it came she didn't even touch it.

Selene stared at her milkshake as it slowly began to melt. Why did I say it? Why did I follow him? She asked herself miserably. Because you love him. A voice said in her mind. Selene sighed and pulled her milkshake near her and stirred it and took a sip but didn't taste anything. She might have not wanted to taste it or it could have been that her mouth had a gross mucas taste in her mouth.

"Why am I immortal? Why can't I be like him?" Selene felt a tear and wiped it away. "I miss him so much."
