Kiya rose her drink in greeting to Cora from the bar with a smile, it had been a while since she`d seen the girl. Deciding it was best to leave Liliona with her thoughts, she whispered a quick "Come see me if you wanna talk" in her ear and made her way to the porch for some fresh air.

Tate had been wanting to talk to Kiya for a while, and since Shana seemed to be ignoring him, and she had just excused herself from the group, he thought this was as good a time as ever. He nodded a goodbye to Shana and followed Kiya to the porch. Moving up to her side slowly, he gave her a weak smile.

Kiya spun quickly at the sudden voice, "Oh, hey" she returned a smile at seeing Tate, "You needed some fresh air too?"

Tate thought about his answer for a minute, while gazing into the bright light of the moon. He looked back down to Kiya, a small smile on his face, he shook his head.
"I came out here more to talk to you."
Tate looked nervously into Kiya's eyes.

Tate shook his head, the smile coming back onto his face to try and lighten the mood a little bit, he didn't want it to seem bad or anything.
"No. Not at all. It... It's just been a long time, and after all the adventures we had together..."

Tate noticed her gaze slipping to the golden coin necklace he was wearing around his neck. He gained from the evil enchantress Cassandria on their first journey together. He grabbed it with his thumb and his index finger. It small black aura surrounded it, but only the coin.
"Yes."
He looked down to it, but then back into Kiya's eyes.
"Have you found out anymore since our last journey together?"

Tate tightened his grip on the necklace, spreading the black aura onto his hand. He shook his head.
"I'm sorry Kiya. I really wish I could have been there to help you. But at least you did have someone."

Tate let his grip loose and then all the way gone on the necklace, though his hand, and the necklace stayed black.
"Could've tried at least."
He put on another smile.
"But hey, what's say we go back into the party, and then maybe I can walk you home or something and we can talk more then?"

"We cant talk now?" Kiya was enjoying the fresh air. Looking out over the lake her gaze missed the black seeping through Tates hand, "its just a lot less .... crowded out here"

"Where to start.." Kiya leaned on the balcony, letting her gaze wander, "I was really weak, Tate. Alot happenned... so it seemed like the only way to stay alive was to take myself and Tsjata back home." She sighed, "Needless to say, something went wrong and we returned here.. both without our memories. We`ve only recently got them back"
