I had the most bizarre morning, every semester we have to attend these leadership seminar things so anyway one of the speakers was some guy from "clancys pies" WHY WOULD YOU GET A PIE GUY TO SPEAK TO THE ENTIRE HUMANITIES GROUP. now i understand that he must have a lot of skills since he bragged about the millions of dollars his company makes every year, but he talked for 45 minutes on some guy called daniel who had NONE of the qualities he kept telling us we all needed and by the end of it all we were all sitting there thinking (in a sarcastic tone):
So what this pie guy is saying is that it doesn't matter if we have good communication, problem solving, management skills because slackers and raging lunatics like daniel will get promoted above us anway?
I gathered this was NOT what he was trying to say, but damn did this guy have a weird way of motivating us. Even our teacher for that class left after 5 minutes into his talk.
But we had a nurse talk to us after that he she made sense so HOORAY.
And now you all know how my day was. Don't you feel enlightened
*walks off shaking head* pie guy, pie guy, pie guy
