"Ok, let's not be apart then." Cassiel smiled at Eli then yawned. "It's been a long day, when is the last time we slept?" she asked, laying her head down on his lap. "I think it's been.... forever." Her voice trailed off.
Cassiel closed her eyes, and very quickly her breathing became soft and regular. She had fallen asleep.

Eli looked down at Cassiel. She looked so calm, so peaceful, so beautiful. Eli lifted her head off his lap and set it softly on the hay bale. He quietly went over and got the suitcases. He looked through his, finally findinf a blanket, which he draped over her. Eli then too off his hat, jacket, black overshirt, belt with daggers, shin guards and shoes. He quietly bundled everything together, then sat down, leaning on the hay baleCassiel was sleeping on, reflecting about the events, not ony of the day, but of the past weeks. Eli touched the necklace she had given him. Somehow, it made him feel closer to her.

After about a half an hour, Cassiel's eyes fluttered open. She quietlu rolled over onto her stomach and watched Eli, he looked like he was deep in thought. Cassiel grinned and she gave Eli a soft kiss on his cheek. "Watcha thinking about?" she asked him, her voice still sounding sleepy.

"Everything. Life's been moving so fast the past few weeks. The bad, the good," Eli kissed her, "and everything in between." Eli slid up onto the hay bale next to her. "Before you fell asleep, you said 'let's not be apart', and I feel the same way." Eli took one of the strings off of the hay bale and tied the suitcases together. He stuffed his bundle between the string and suitcase. He picked up Cassiel, so that she was resting on his shoulder, and picked up the string in the other. "Come on, this isn't the place to sleep, lets go back to my place, at least it's warm there." Eli walked out of the barn, with Cassiel in his arm.
