Kione stood on the very inside edge of the forest behind a thicket of trees. He took a stick in his hand and drew a figure that looked just like the pendants that Eli and Cassiel share in the dirt. He waved his hands over the enlarged drawn figure chanting "Effrego veneficus" over and over again. A black smoke started coming out of his right hand and a green smoke started coming out of his left hand. The two colored smokes twisted and winded around each other then formed a ball of smoke. In landed in the middle of the drawing. Kione bent down and put both hands on the ball. It absorbed into his skin and and he sighed and stood up. He had completed the spell to make the magic in Eli's pendant stop working so that he wouldn't know that Selene was with Cassiel. All he had to do now was get near enough to Eli to touch him at all, anywhere, and the spell would take affect. He walked in towards the barn and slid the barn door open. He stepped inside and slid it closed again. He sat down on a pile of hay seeing if Eli would show up.

Eli flew in through a hole in the roof and perched on the loft. He say the very end of what Kione was doing with green and black smoke, and thought he would keep his presence unknown until the smoke show was over. When he saw the smoke disappear, he didn't like what Kione did with the smoke, absorbing it into himself. Cautiously, Eli flew out across the barn and started to land, shifting to human form as he landed, wearing his black shorts and navy flak jacket under his open black leather coat. His metal plated boots and sunglasses completed his outfit. "So you wanted to see me, Kione. What's up?" Eli asked, hoping he didn't show any suspicion.

Kione smiled to Eli and walked closer to him "Hey not much, I just wanted to tell you myself that I completely understand your side to the trial and am actually leaning towards your side, even though it is against Liliona..."

Eli backed up as Kione approached him. He decided that not acting suspicious wasn't the answer, he had to be blunt. "OK, I know you were playing with some sort of spell. I saw the green and black smoke being absorbed into your hands. What is the spell for?" Eli asked, suspiciously.

Kione sighed I hate lying... He didn't approach Eli any further, he just closed his eyes, then opened them again and began to speak. "Okay, I know that you have noticed before but I have temper problems, one of the teachers I had had in the past tought me a spell to help control my temper. I have to preform the spell two times a day for my temper to be mostly controlled, that all it was, but I don't like telling people that, so if you could please keep it a secret... I would really appreciate it."

Eli stopped retreating. "No problem," he said. He continued to watch Kione, however, for any sudden movement.

Kione smiled "Well I just wanted to let you know I am with you on this whole trial thing" He looked Eli up and down "I can see that you feel very uncomfortable so I guess I will leave now" He held out his hand to shake Eli's hand.
