Star was walking around and saw the old barn . it was almost midnight and she was exosted. walking over she whent in and found a place in the corner and curled up falling asleep.

A few days after the storm, Cassiel decided to go and see how the barn had made it through all the snow and ice. The old abandoned building had been her home when she first made it to town and she had a soft spot for it. While she walked, she thought of all the things that happened there; her first meeting with Drake and Kione, getting some of her memories back, the time they almost burned it down. Cassiel was smiling by the time she got there.
To her surprise, when she opened the door there was already someone sleeping in the barn. Cassiel recognized the girl, but it took her a second to know why she knew her. This was the new shifter who had joined them in the cafe for their long stay. It looked to Cassiel like the girl had all but passed out in the first shelter she could find. The girl was curled up in the hay with no blanket. Cassiel decided to wake her and see if she was alright. She walked over to the girl and gently shook her, "Please don't be afraid, I am only here to help you. I was stuck in the cafe during the storm just like you were."

Star was so tierd that she did not even here the barn door creek open. when she was shaken awake she did not know what to do . but apon seeing that it was one of the others she was shut up with, calmed down once agin . oh hi. i did not hear you come in .... i am fine realy . i am use to staying alone and traveling alone .. that sort of thing i am use to doing. i have been on my own for severle years now she tryed to shrug off the questions even though she new it might not work.
After a little bit Start started to shiver from being damp and it still being cold out side. she stood up and pulled her hood up over her head drapping it to where her face was hid.

Cassiel took off her leather jacket and handed it to the girl. She had a sweatshirt on underneath and was not going to be cold. "Here, take your sweatshirt off and put this on. It will keep you warmer than that damp sweatshirt." Cassiel smiled gently. "Something tells me you are not telling me the whole truth, but I am not going to pry. Just let me help you get set up to stay somewhere warmer. We have an inn down the street from where we were stuck at the cafe. It isn't anything fancy, but it's somewhere warm. The prices are really good, and if you don't have any money, the owner is very understanding and will just keep up a tab until you can pay it."

Star after taking off her own jacket she slowly took the lether jaket with trimbling hands. thanks this fills good.... she said softly hugging the jacket tightly around her.
yess ... there is more to my story than i have told...... ( long pase) i am not good in closed places. barns are not bad but houses and rooms ... lets just say i had a bad time in them and dont care to stay in them for to long at a time... she was lookeing up at the moon her eyes were ablaze when she spock of her past.

Tam strolled into the barn, arms swining by her side as she sung "You and I - Michael Buble" at the top of her lungs. She stopped suddenly, arms in mid air, as she walked in on the two. "Sorry." She said taking a step back. "I wasn't interrupting was I?"

Cassiel looked at the girl with sympathy and was about to say something to her when Tam burst into the barn singing. She turned to Tam and grinned, "Don't worry about it, we were just talking. I'm glad to see that you made it out of the inn alright." Cassiel turned back to the girl, "I should introduce the two of you, but I'm afraid I never did catch your name. The singer over there is Tamuril, she's a good person to get to know. And Tam, this a new friend of mine. I don't know her name but I am hoping she will tell us." She smiled again.

the sudden noise had made her start to change into her horse form but she was able to say her name " my name is Star" but the rest was cut short with a nicker of a horse as she stood there finly in full horse form.
the jacket she wore ,she did not have her arms in the sleeves so it hung lightly on her back.

"Tam, this is Star. She is a shifter." Cassiel added, unnecessarily. She turned to Star and put a hand on her shoulder. "You don't have to be nervous around Tam or me. But if you feel more comfortable in that form, I understand. I am a shifter too, as are a few other people, so we are all used to talking to shifters not in human form."

Star had lowerd her head and was looking at the ground. finly after a little bit longer she finly whent back to her human form.... sorry about that ... if any thing makes me nurvios i shift ... i seam to not be able to control it some times...it is nice to meet you both realy it is, i know i must seem odd to you but i try to hide my shifting into a horse ... she was holding on to her right wrist but a scar could be easly seen if one was looking. she hoped they had not seen the many scars she had all down her back and legs.

"Hiding your shifting ability is not uncommon at all. I know a few people who do it. In certain situations I also hide my ability to shift." Cassiel noticed that Star was holding her wrist and got concerned. "Did you injure yourself?" she asked Star.

Tam squealed as Star shifted into a horse. "COOL! A Horse!" She cried running over, careful not to spook Star anymore than she already was. Tam followed Cass' gaze down to Stars wrist.

Star took a step back from Tam but settled down and started to like there company more and more but when Cass had asked her if she was alright she quickly with drew her hands up and into the jacket and said ... i ... i am fine... i never felt better in my hole life... all of a sudden an owl hooted right above her head scaring her! back into her horse form she whent befor she could say a nuther word to them . with head lowerd she walked slowly to the back and bit down on a bord holding onto it with her teeth as she had done many a time in the past waiting for the wip lashes she would recive.. the scars showed even more now in the light coming in through the crackes in the barn wall un like erlyer in the shadows were she had stood not long ago.
(( sorry i might not be on for a cuple days agin... we had to put the dog down and my dad is sill in hospile (might be 2 weeks or more dont know yet when he will come home... i will try to get on towmarow evening when i get home from working cows and seeing my dad, bye all))

Tam gasped seeing Stars injuries. "Star!" She started towards the poor thing. She reached a hand out to settle her. "It's okay Star you're safe." Tam crooned stroking her nose. She desperately wanted to heal her injuries but she didn't think it wise to try in her current state.
(( Good lord don't apologise for that! You've got nothing to be sorry for. I hope everything turns out okay with your dad. I'm sorry to hear about your dog, that sucks chicka *hugs*.))

Cassiel sat down next to Star, very careful to be calm. "If someone hurt you, Tam and I could help heal the scars. Well, the physical ones at least. Tam is a mystic warrior so she has natural healing abilities, and I am half witch, and my specialization is making potions. Especially healing potions. We wouldn't pry into what happened but I would listen if you want to talk, and I'm sure Tam would do the same." Cassiel gave the girl a small smile and then was quiet, letting her think."
(I second everything that Tam said. I am very sorry about what has been going on, and dont worry about us, we will be here when you get back. We will just go post in other places while you are dealing with more important things.)
