Tsjata looked between the adults, unable to comprehend what was happening, and burrowed her face into Zanes shoulder.
Kiya was by Michael in a second, "Stay away from my child", she warned, "I saved you to help aid us - do not believe for a moment I still have any feelings for you.."
Grasping her chin, Michael pulled Kiya in tight kissing her hard on the lips. "Oh, but thats where you are so wrong" he pulled away and laughed lightly at the hatred in her eyes. "You`ll always love me, Kiya, you can`t help it. Its fate"

Kiya spoke to Zane, keeping her gaze on Michael, "Allow me". With a swift movement she kneed him hard in the groin, and squatted to look up into his face, "Now about helping us out"
Gritting his teeth, he looked up from beneath a straggled fringe, "I told you. I want something in return."
"Which is?" Kiya looked towards Zane warily.

Michal decided to appeal to Kiya, "Come back with me. Let us raise our daughter together, away from maniacs like this..."
"She`s not your daughter" Kiya, speaking low and with much restraint, resisted the urge to hit him again.
"She should have been. I know you`ve seen the scriptures....." Michael replied with the same low volume.
At the same time, Tsjata looked up to Zane, horror in her eyes, "The bad man is my dad!?"

Zane held Tsjata closer, shaking his head.
"No. No he's not your dad. He doesn't deserve a gift like you. What scriptures Kiya, what is he talking about?"

Kiya glanced towards Tsjata, "I`ll tell you later" she spoke through gritted teeth, then turned her attention back to Michael. "Don`t do that again"
"But you are my daughter", Michael smiled to Tsjata once more, before shifting his gaze to Kiya "And you will be my wife. Unless you want your ancesters work to die because of your selfish act."

"The Nightworld and Twilight world have been having some troubles, our quest had to do with it...." Kiya tried to rearrange all the facts in her mind but couldnt do it fast enough, "Tsjatas the Key. The daughter of Twilight and Nightworld royalty...."
"Me...." Michael interrupted
".. I was promised to Michael. But I fell in love with the wrong person" she hesitated a moment, "Thats why they tried to take our daughter. Tried to make us forget it all..."
