Bored and digging to China

[Kaden]

He shot some ice at her head, accidentally freezing her entire head. "Oops. Uh...Syn?" With a nod, he melted the ice, but also burnt up her face, leaving it black. "At least the fire's out. And black's a nice look for you Tam."

Tam shook her head and it healed. She bunched her fists angrily at her side. "That's it Kads. No one messes with my upper left cheek bone." She pounced on him and tackled him to the ground.

"You might have ice powers but you've never seen me with make-up and a brush." She war cried. Tam worked her own magic in a minutes time Kaden looked exactly like Hilary Duff. "Ohhh put this on too." She said dressing him in a pretty dress and beads. "Now the transformation is complete!" She cried triumphantly, standing back to admire her handy work.

[Kaden]

This time, his dragon was confused at the new creature that appeared where Kaden had just stood. Afraid for his friend's well-being, Syn blasted the new being with fire, inadvertently scorching Kaden. Good news? The dress was burnt off, but now make-up was stuck to his face. He looked like the Joker without the smile. "Damn it. I'm never gonna get this off now Tammy." He said, looking sad.

Tam patted his head sympathetcially. "It's okay Kaden." She said as he started to cry. "Once we get to China you can start over your life as a jester." She said smiling encouragingly.

[Kaden]

"I don't wanna be a damn jester!" He cried. "I wanted to be the best wizard in the world, but no one will respect me now...."

[tamuril]

"Well I never respected you...so you see, you've really lost nothing in the long run." She said mischeviously, wiping the makeup from his face.

[Kaden]

Kaden scoffed. "Hey, that made me feel a LOT better. Thanks a lot friend." He said sarcastically. "How the hell do you keep friends?"

[tamuril]

Tam smiled. "Like this." She said giving Kads a big cuddle. "Ya know I love ya kads." She said winking with her hands on her hips.

[Kaden]

"Thanks Sakura...Oh wait did I just say that out loud? I meant Tam. Sorry." Kaden said after the cuddle. "So hey, are we still digging this hole or what?"

[tamuril]

"Are we still digging?" Tam said looking over her shoulder as she dug. "No I just enjoy playing in dirt." She said throwing it about as if she were splashing in water. "But if I WERE digging I would very much appreciate your help Kads."

[Kaden]

"Oh. Well, since you're not digging, then I'll just - Hey, how did you know which way to dig to get to China anyway?"

[tamuril]

"I don't." She shrugged getting back to work. "But I figure we'll end up there sooner or later." She said disappearing down into the now deep hole. She took a lamp from one of the talking badgers that had volunteered their services for the expedition to China. "Come on Kads." She called out flicking dirt over her shoulder with her yellow, plastic spade.

[Kaden]

"What kind of journey is this? We don't even know where we're going! We could end up at the bottom of the ocean for all we know!" Kaden whined.

[tamuril]

Tam scraped away at the tunnel and somehow hit the oceans floor. Water exploded through the hole and flooded the tunnel. Luckily as soon as teh water touched her legs she transformed into a mermaid.

"Come on Kads." Tam squealed happily as a school of exotic fish swam past. "We'll swim the rest of the way!" She laughed as a pod of dolphins danced around them.

[Kaden]

"Oh what fun." Kaden said unenthusiastically. He didn't even waste time wondering how they could speak underwater, chalking it up to Tam's random-powers. Syn swam past them happily, twirling through the water. "Well, he's fine with thi -" He was about to say before a shark swam over and bit Tam's leg off.
