He thought for a while in a tension-filled silence before speaking. "..."I'm really gonna need your help with this Jaira." Kaden said in an unusually soft voice.

The wolf bit her lip, quietly studying the man before her. She realised how much it would have cost the wizard to lower his shield and admit that, "Thanks", she finally managed to form.

"Sounds as good a plan as any", she double checked all the vital things she needed were still with her, and moved past the wizard with a firm grasp of his hand, "Just be in one piece". Then she was gone.
