I forgive you my good man. You haven't read the Bible as of yet so it's not your fault you don't know any better.

lol, nice guys.
But yes the new lion is a bit different, but the fact that he's keeping ex-bowler around is pretty stupid, but kinda makes sense... the poor muggle man at the beginning though. I felt bad for him.

XD I love the beginning. It was very hilarious, and gave a sense of chaos in like the first few pages. I felt sorry for Fudge though, even though I've never really liked him anyway.

He has such a cool name though "Fudge" I love fudge, my favourite flavours are probably choc mint and choc orange and choc. But yeah back to other Fudge, he's just a little scrambled is all, he means well he's just like most grown ups, he has no idea what he's talking about. Anyway back to real fudge it's so fun where we ge it. They have it all set up like...well I don't know what it's like but it makes me think of Willy Wonka kinda, it's all colorful and it's all sitting in this big glass thing in big slabs and they cut chucks of it off. Me and my sisters can't get enough of it. Mother says it's "a rich food" so we shouldn't eat too much or we'll get sick. Pfff I'll put that theory to test. *grabs hunk of fudge the size of her head* WAIT I just remebered what the fudge reminded me of, it's cheese, you know how they have hunks of cheese? Well that's what it reminds me of

Wow ya'll got way off topic!
But I'm still mad at Fudge for book 4 and 5, that just pissed me off like no other. But I have to admit I did feel slightly sorry for him in the first chapter.

I read them out of order profousley since my cousin had them all but he lost them, so he gave them to me in the order he found them. I'd actually seen book four laying around, so I read that and asked him for more. He gave me book 1, and I read that. Then he gave me 3 and there were alot of characters I'd never heard of before. When I read 2, it made alot more sense. Then, my Aunt went and bought the 5th book for me at smart and funal whilst everyone crowded around barnes and nobles, and this year my mom bought it the first day at walmart whilst barnes and nobles sold out. Someone should let those poor kids know that barnes and nobles isn't the only one that sells books. I don't remember much of 4 because it was the first I read, but tis november I'll refresh my memory with the movie ^_^ Fude is an A-hole, but A-holes need lovin too.

Harry Potter is not junk!!! I'd rather cut off all my hair for money then go without my books. Especially Potter world, it's perfect, Narnia's better but. That place is PERFECTION.

WHOA! HOLD UP! I don't wanna be accused wrongly! I was not saying Harry Potter was junk. I just stated that you need money in order to buy... well anything. And 'anything' to me is 'junk.' Believe me I would NEVER call it junk! You should hear me when people start dissing on it. Of course the first words out of my mouth are: HAVE YOU EVER READ THEM? The answer is most commonly a 'no.'

I KNOW I don't understand how people can say they hate Harry Potter when they haven't read it!!! I mean it's not like it'd have the following it has if it was a boring story. Some people just want to be different so they say they hate everything anybody else likes. A pretty stupid way to live if you ask me, imagine how much cool stuff they'd miss!!!

A lot of that is someone, especially adults, being status-oriented. They figure "oh, it's a kid's book," and never even glance at it.
Well, folks, pity them. I've heard it said and written time and time again by professional writers that writing kid's stories isn't much different than writing adult ones. The biggest difference is that you have to actually write better. I mean, how many adults have dropped their dignity and wholeheartedly got into HP? Now compare that with how many kids would last through the first chapter of Margaret Atwood's "Literary Award-Winner" novels. Or for that matter, how many adults?
Pity those poor magic-less creatures. Just think of how much they're missing by only reading magazines and newspapers.

Newspapers and magazines are good too. Mum always yells at me and my sisters for yoinking the paper. But that's her beef. I think grown ups just forget to self-conscious they're so worried about how they'll be perceived. Quite frankly I don't think anyone would care whether they read HP or not, they're not the centre of the universe. No one is. Unless you are the centre of the universe then I apologise.

Well... cos im joinin this so late i will apologise in advance if i screw this thread up and all but... On the topic of the new HP and tams discussion of newspapers i just thought i'd point out that within a few days of HP's release the headlines of all the newspapers completely ruined the ending of the book! half the people in Aus hadnt even got half way through it and had the whole story and suspense killed for them. How dare those journalists do that! I bet those huge HP fans who cant read too quick were heart broken. (I cant say im one of them though - I agree with Stormaf, Ill be waiting for the movie to come out!)

HOW CAN YOU WAIT!!!! Okay got that out of my system. I know, some people/newspapers are so rude. I tried so hard not to let it out and they go splash it about like that breaking peoples hearts. okay back to outrage at movie comment. The movies just DON'T CUT IT. I mean I love them but they can't even be compared to the books, the stories are so buggered up by the time they reach the big screen they barely resemble the original.
