I agree - everytime i come out of the movie all my brother ever says is "that was nothin like the book. it cut out half the story!" Im not a complete HP non-reader. i read the first 3 but didnt get much past that. In fact, I haven't read a good book in so long, and I used to be such an avid reader. But I do have a reason, I blame it on the fact that I no longer have a bed-side lamp! I used to be able to get all snug in bed and read and when I got tired i could just lean ova n turn the light out. But now that its gone I just get in my room, turn the light out and go straight to sleep. I think I should get them clap light things. That would be pretty cool!

Movies almost always fall short when compared to books, mostly because in movies you're stuck with one person's interpretation of what something looks like or sounds like, and it may or may not be what your own imagination saw. The HP movies, at least, stick a lot closer to the plots than most do.

The only Harry Potter Movies that I ACTUALLY didn't criticize too much was the first two. The director was the same and did a KICK ASS job on them. But the third *shudders as rage builds* Grr! I have nothing good to say about that one. I'm PRAYING that the director of GoF is A LOT better then of PoA. But like with every book-to-movie, there's always those little details that piss you off. Like in the preveiws for GoF, Hermione is wearing PINK AND her hair is all curly and up in a prom style!!!! THAT WAS NOT HOW IT WAS IN THE BOOK! *has heart attack and falls on the ground having spasms*

*sympathises with sesle and falls to the ground in her rage* The first two movies were just so different to the third one. I actually cried the night I saw PoA. I was so devastated about the new Dumbledore. OMG HOW STUPID IS THE VERY LAST BIT WTH WAS THAT BOUT. His face looks like a squashed bug. I always shut my eyes at that bit now it makes me so mad. OMG I HATE that they've made Hermione undorky, not that I don't adore Emma Watson and she looks lovely but I want ratty hair!!! No more of this brushed, untangled nonsense. But how good was Professor Trelawney though that was pretty good. But I'm so angry about this Irish streak Dumbledores suddenly developed that makes me SO mad. Okay shutting up now I'm getting all fired up.
