For about 0.2 of a second Tam wanted to puch Nickos lights out for presuming he could waltz in and take her job, however, on the whole, Tam was a sensible girl and in 0.1 of a second she'd tossed her jealousy aside like you would old seafood.
She looked down at the floor, thinking hard as she rolled a small piece of fluff that had detached itself from the army green shag carpeting that covered the club floor under her foot. She looked up and raised an eyebrow at Nicko. "Look Nicko, I'm awfully glad that Kez has someone else around to protect her, but I swear to Blobby if you turn out to be an ass I'll suffocate you to death in all this shag carpet." She said tapping him on the nose with her staff.

Grabbing the staff and moving it out of his face, said calmly, "I don't mind being requested of things Tam, and i don't even mind insinuations about my demeener, but if you do not mind, don't treat me like a child."
Releaseing the staff back to her, he corrected, "And it's Nicoli. Not Nicko."

Tam struggled to make her lips mouth the word Nicoli, but to no avail. "...Nico...Nicole...Nicko..... I'm sorry that's as close as I can get. And I'm not sure exactly how I'm treating you like a child but I would presume it'd be better than treating you like an adult. It never seems to turn out well and I get stroppy trying to talk of beige couches and the price of cardboard all day. Adults bore me." She watched a bug crawling on the ceiling to entertain herself.

"Fair enough." Tam sighed she wished Rezo or Iris would come out more often, no one else was any fun. "I'm going to get something to drink." She did the macarena over to the bar. "One tropical flavoured cordial please." She asked politely.

Reaching out she stilled the barstool with a small smile, jumping out of her own. "Maybe you`ll like this style of dancing a little better?..." she looked out to the sea of people on the dancefloor.

He felt heat rise into his face when she kissed him. "Thanks." he said shyly. Starting t feel the beat of the music, he just started to move. He didn't know what he was doing, but it really didn't matter.

Laughing she took his hand and began to spin around the dancefloor, ending only with the conclusion of the faster music. Spinning in once more for her big ending Kiya`s face came within inches of Nicolis, causing her heart to skip a beat.
