"Its ok, don't leave on my account " Lily said "Its probably about time I turned in for the night anyways "
Finishing the last of her drink she turned to Cassandra and smiled "I will leave you two love birds to it, its been really great getting to know you this evening I can see we are going to have some fun getting to know eachother, Night Cass , Night Kaden"
Lily took her leave and headed towards the back room , opening the door she was greeted by Narym snoring loud enough to wake the gods.
'Great ' she thought ' Bang goes my good nights sleep!'

Hearing the snoring as Lily opened the door, Cassandra was briefly tempted to offer to trade places with her....she'd take the snorning and Lily could take the 'discussion' that was coming up with Kaden. Very briefly, though. Bidding Lily goodnight, Cassandra turned and walked out the door with Kaden.

At daybreak Narym slipped out of the back door of the club and headed out of town. The air was fresh after the recent storm and she breathed deeply. She felt invigorated. It was a most welcome feeling. She unerringly found where Fallow was sleeping, even tho she hadn't spoken to him yet, nor he to her. It was good to practice. It suddenly occured to her that she hadn't been able to find Trent, nor had she known Lily was not in room 2B in the basement of the inn.
'Curious is it not?' Fallow commented as she walked up to him. 'Something appears to be damping your skills in that town.'
'Morning to you too!' she greeted cheerily and hugged his neck as best she could, its thickness was awesome!
'You slept well I see.'
'Yes, pretty good.'
The blue dragon lay comfortably on the ground, his eyes level with hers. She just loved to look at him, his blue scales glistening in the early morning sunlight; his eyes were like saucers of lapis lazuli, deep and unfathomable. They looked closely at her now.
'The aura is still there, tho faint,' he informed her. 'That is probably the reason. You need to talk to a wizard.'
He nudged her gently, although a gentle nudge from a dragon could still cause an unsuspecting recipient to fall over. Narym kept her on feet. Just.
'What do you think of my new friends?' she asked and scratched him under his left ear, reaching up on tiptoes to do so.
' I approve ,' he replied, his eyes rolling with pleasure. 'Lily is afraid of me,' he chuckled. Narym grinned.
'They all appear to be level headed and honest,' he continued. ' But they all have problems they have not shared with you. Rule number 3.'
'I know, don't drop your guard. I've done that a lot recently.' She sighed and settled down on the ground, leaning against him. ' But I trust them. Hopefully they will come to trust me and share their problems.'
They sat like this together, just enjoying each others company and the warm mornings sun.

Lily woke as the sun was setting, rolled over to find Naryms bed empty.
Locating the shower she stepped into the warm spray and let the water wash away the stress of the past few days.
Finally dressed and feeling refreshed she headed out of the club in search of Narym.

Narym saw Lilyrose heading in her direction as she was walking back into town and waved to catch her attention. She waited until she was closer and then called out, " Hey Lily, fancy a dragon ride?"

Lily panicked knowing that there was no way she could get out of this without looking foolish , forced a smile and said " Yeah ok sounds great"

Narym grinned wickedly at her friend. As she took her arm to lead her to Fallow, tho, she felt her shake.
" Hey, you really are frightened aren't you?"
She led her gently to her giant friend and said calmly," He won't hurt you Lily, he's a pussycat really."
Fallow snuffled.' Pussycat indeed!' he grumbled in their minds.He lowered his huge head and looked Lily in the eye. He snuffled again gently, ruffling her long dark hair.
'You are Naryms friend, therefore you are ever safe with me.'
Narym pushed her forward slightly. " He likes being scratched under his left ear," she said. " Go on, don't be intimidated by his height, give him a scratch, he'll be putty in your hands!"

Lily looked at Narym grinning and realised that this was all a big joke at her expense. Fallow and Narym were obviously well aware of her fear of dragons. Determined not to let them get the better of her she walked up to Fallow looked him in the eye and said "Thank you Fallow I would be honored if you would take me flying"
Climbing aboard Fallows back she held on tight and closed her eyes as he took to the sky.

Sitting behind her friend, Narym held her tightly. This was no donkey ride at the sea side! Fallow was capable of going at high speeds and was known once for his acrobatic skills in aerial fights. But that required a specially adapted harness and today was just for the exhilarating fun of it.
Fallow spoke to both of them.' It is not my wish to frighten little Lily, I wish you to know me and trust me. And not to be afraid of me.'
They flew just above the tree tops, startling the nesting birds into flight. Narym looked down and saw some of the towns folk looking up at them and pointing. She threw her head back and yelled. " Woohoo!"
The dragon snorted. 'Really Narym, any one would think you a novice!'
'This is so good!' she threw her arms up in the air and felt Lily wobble. 'Oops, sorry Lily. Got carried away!'
Fallow slowly reduced height and gently landed in a field close to town. Narym hopped down and helped Lily slide down to the ground. " Well?" she demanded of her friend. "Wasn't that just the greatest thing?"

Lily's first mistake was looking down. The landscape flew past at high speed and she started to feel slightly sick, but after a while she started to enjoy the feeling of the wind rushing through her hair and relaxed.
Loathed as she was to admit it it was the most exhilarating experience she had had for ages. As they landed she kind of wished that they had stayed up for longer.
Facing Fallow she started to stroke him under his left ear " I do trust you fallow" she whispered "Thank you for the most amazing experience."

Narym began to grin and then took hold of herself. Rule number 5: comport yourself with decorum at all times. She saw Fallow looking at her as if he were reading her mind! She took her leave of her dearest friend and felt him chuckling. He had enjoyed himself too. 'You old fake!' she sent and received a snuffle in reply.
She walked back to town with Lily in a happy mood.
" I'm glad you enjoyed it Lily," she said. " Fallow is the better half of me and I need you to understand him so that you can understand me better." She grinned sheepishly. " It's kind of cool tho don't you think to fly like that? I never tire of it."
