Closing her eyes, Kiya felt the mists of ice swirling around her once more, this time a slight edge of fear accompanied them. "Icil Gangel" she repeated beginning to build her visualisations from the feet upwards.

She trusted him. Remaining calm Kiya felt the promised cool wave pass over her, quickly followed by a flash of heat. Opening her eyes her gaze locked upon her ice twin, only, unlike Kadens, this icey statue was surrounded by bright flames.

"Wow...." Uttered Kaden, genuinely impressed. He looked at Kiya and smiled. "I've never seen anyone with that much control before. The ice isn't melting at all...You mixing two conflicting elements....Just wow....." He continued.

Waving her hand over the flames she watched as the fire sizzled to ice, falling around the ice statue. "Now THAT could come in handy" she whiepered to herself. "But now its your turn. Any requests?"

"Umm....." Kaden began, sort of sheepishly. "To be honest, I've never been able to actually control fire. I've tried many a time, but it never...ahhh....worked out. The most I've been able to do is generate heat. Sooo.....I probably should start at the beginning."

When I first learnt to control fire I was a very angry girl" she slipped back into memory briefly before returning to Kadens gaze, "what i guess i`m trying to get out... is that to make fire you have to have a degree of passion behind your thoughts. Whether thats anger or love or lust..... its up to the individual. Can you think of soemthing that evokes those feelings within?"

"Okay....Anger. Yeah, I can definitely do that..." He said, thinking back to his first time having to kill another person. His fists clenched at his side as the memory he tried to shove to the back of his mind started to reveal itself to him again.
"I loved her...." He said softly, then shook his head, trying to clear it. "What's next?"

He looked at her in confusion at first, not exactly understanding. Then he shrugged and figured he'd get it sooner or later. He started to force himself to replay all the bad memories he had. All the anger he felt at them, he tried to isolate into one spot in his soul. His eyes began to water as he had to relive all of this, but he told himself that he wouldn't cry.
Hs hands felt at his waist for his staff, and found it. Pulling his now-short extendable staff from his pocket, he grasped it tightly in his right hand.

Kiya watched from afar, knowing Kaden would now be full of many painful memories. It always hurt at the beginning, but anyone who could control the element of ice would surely be able to grasp fire. "Thats is, Kaden" she said softly, "isolate the anger and hurt"
