Tate could tell she was really nervous about this subject, which sparked his interest more.

"What does it do?" the pain of Kadens possession was still fresh in her mind, fighting back the tears she kicked at the book, "brings pain". She turned from him to hide her emotions, "Its evil"

Tate stood behind Kiya and put a hand comfortingly onto her shoulder. Looking at the book, he grabbed his golden coin necklace with his other hand, and it began to glow black. He wondered if there was any connection between the book and the necklace.

Kiyas gaze fell to the necklace, curiousity laced across her face. Nothing however, could keep her from destroying the book. "It ends tonight" she said sharply, moving away from the book, "stand back Tate" she warned calling the Fire to her palm.

Tate reached a hand out to Kiya to stop her, and it began to glow black. He brought it back to his body slowly, examining it.

Kiya turned on him, letting her anger out unfairly on the shifter, "DONNER`s!" she screamed at him, "A disgusting, manipulating piece of scum who only seeks to make life HARDER..". Moving closer to him she dropped her voice to a bitter whisper, "because to him, my lifes not hard enough"

Kiya let the emotion overtake her. Breaking into sobs of tears she fell to her knees by the book, building the Power within her once more and sending it hurtling into the Dark book which had caused so much hurt. The flames ripped the book to pieces sending sparks flying in all directions of the barn. Kiya curled up beside the burning scraps, allowing the fire to encompass her, warming her with their taste of destruction.

Tate ducked and dodged sparks of fire as they shot everywhere. He didn't know how long he could keep it up. He ducked from one and another one was headed right for his face without a chance of him getting out of the way. He swiped a hand at it, and a black swipe mark appeared where he did it, and it stopped the spark from hitting him. He stopped and looked at himself, scared again.

Now the madness set in. Watching Tate over the flames she choked with laughter, "why bother fighting, Tate? He always wins....." her eyes reached the book once more, "...he always wins..."

Tate let anger rage inside him, towards Kiya, towards the book, towards the flames, towards the whole world. It soared through his body, filling every bit of him with rage. His eyes turned completely black, along with his hair. He clenched his fists and held them down to his sides. A black shield surrounded him, the fire disolving instanstly when it hit it.
"No."
He seemed more confident than he had ever been.

Hey eyes widened taking in the scene, as the darkness grew the flames settled, leaving both in an eery silence. Only burnt wood stood to mark where a fire had been blazing moments before. "What did you do?" Kiya trembled

Tate blinked his eyes and the shield went away.
"I got tired of it."
He let out an evil laugh, then covered his mouth quickly, not knowing what just happened.
