Hearts Destruction

[Kiya]

"Goddess, please no" Kiya pulled herself together, crawling away from Tate. She had to get away from all of this.

[Tate Belegorn]

Tate shook his head vigorously. He didn't know what was happening to him. He tried to rip the necklace of his neck, but it didn't happen. But he did manage to make himself and it stop glowing black. He looked deathly scared of himself.

[Kiya]

Standing on shaky legs, Kiya turned to the doorway and began to stumble along the wall. "I can`t help you, Tate" she watched the black glow disappear and the scared look move across his face, "I can`t take this anymore. I`m sorry..." she continued to fumble for a handhold along the barn.

[Tate Belegorn]

Tate watched Kiya trying to leave, but didn't say anything to her. He fell to his knees, looking at the palms of his hands. Then he put his head in his hands, and let out a sob.

[Kiya]

"You can fight it" Kiya promised as she reached the doorway, "Tate.. I just cant.. I cant put myself through this anymore. He`s always around me. Evils always around me..." she sobbed once more, unable to speak. Turning she ran as fast as her shaky legs would carry her, home.

[Tate Belegorn]

Tate felt himself let go. He couldn't control his emotions anymore. He began to weep, cry his eyes out. Everyone had left him to kill himself pretty much. Kiya wasn't even willing to help, she was the one whom he got the necklace with. It is a key to her past. He didn't know what to do. He just sat in the barn by himself, and cried himself to sleep.

[Cassiel]

Some time later, Cassiel wandered into the barn. She didn't know why she always ended up there, it just seemed to call to her. Home she thought. This was the first place I've eber been able to call home.

As soon as she stepped inside, she knew something wasn't right. There had been very powerful magic here. Magic and darkness and pain. Cassiel saw the burnt book on the ground and looking up saw Tate. He was curled up in some hay, tears still on his cheeks. Cassiel went over to him gently shook his shoulder. Something back obviously happened here and she wanted to know what. And besides, she liked Tate. Obviously not in the same way that she liked Eli, but ever since she travelled back in time with him and Kiya, she felt like they were connected somehow. "Tate, wake up," she whispered.

[Tate Belegorn]

Tate slowly blinked his eyes open, and they were still bloodshot from how much he cried before he fell asleep. He yawned big, before he realized that Cassiel woke him up. He blinked his eyes a few more times, then saw Cassiel. He quickly wiped the last few tears off his cheeks, and blushed slightly, looking up to Cassiel.

He still had the depressed look on his face, because he didn't know what to do with himself.

[Cassiel]

Cassiel gave Tate a gentle smile. "Are you alright?" she asked him. "You look like you've just lost your best friend."

[Tate Belegorn]

Tate returned it with a fake smile, but you could really tell that it was fake.

"Something like that. More along the lines of losing myself though."

He looked down to the ground, the fake smile fading immeadiately.

[Cassiel]

"Tate, what happened here?" Cassiel asked. She really didn't know what was going on with him, but had a feeling it had something to do with whatever was destroyed. Cassiel knew that Tate didn't just come to the barn and find it like this.

[Tate Belegorn]

Tate sighed, and prepared himself for the story.

"I came into the barn as Fang, and found that Kiya was in here, she didn't know who I was, so she tried to push me out, but I started to be surrounded by this black energy and she couldn't push me anymore, then I ran off to the other side of the barn, and turned into me. Kiya and I began talking and I was telling her about my shifting and stuff, when I noticed the book. Once I saw it, she tried hiding it, then it was still... not burnt. I asked her about it, and she said it was something about Donner, that only caused problems. She was going to try and burn it, so I tried to stop her, when I did, that same black energy came, though only over my necklace and hands. Then she yelled at me, and burned it anyways, when she did, fire flew everywhere. I stopped it from hitting me, by making a black shield around me, then I had an evil laugh for some reason, and Kiya got scared, and left me here. That's when I cried myself to sleep."

Tate blushed a lot. It was embarrasing to him.

[Cassiel]

"Oh Tate." Cassiel whispered. "What is going on here? This isn't the first time I've heard of that Donner person, and everything I hear is bad. Wait. What about the necklace? Are you talking about the one you got when you went back in time with Kiya and me? When we found out about her past."

[Tate Belegorn]

Tate nodded.

"Sort of. I got it the first time. When it was only Kiya and I that went back. Kiya had it, it was Cassandria's, filled with Dark Magic, but it was drawn to me, and I could access, it's powers."

A small tear rolled down his face.

"I don't want to be evil."

[Cassiel]

"I don't think you are Tate. I just don't get that feeling from you. The magic inside the necklace was created by an evil person, so the magic manifests itself as something black. As far as the evil laugh, well, I honestly don't know. But I think just the fact that you don't want to be evil might help stop it." Cassiel jumped down off the hay and picked up the book. It was burned, but it wasn't completely destroyed. She brought it back to Tate. "I wonder what is in here that Kiya was so desperate to get rid of it."
