Kaden then realized something. Turning to Tate, he said, "That necklace. You never told me how you got it."

Tate turned his attention away from Cassiel, and looked to Kaden. He grabbed ahold of the necklace, still glowing black.
"From Cassandria."
He spoke quietly.

Now Kaden was the one suspicious of someone, as if he had any right to be. "From Cassandria." He repeated. "And just how do you know Cassandria?"

Tate looked up again.
"I was the one that went on Kiya's first two adventures with her. I helped her in the very beginning, finding out everything for the first time. I was there with her, and then I got her out of there."

"First two adventures, eh? Seems Kiya's been quite the adventurer around these parts....Well, anyway, I guess I should thank you for helping her and looking after her." He said. "Because lord knows, that girl cannot anywhere without getting into something." Kaden added, throwing a slight grin to Kiya before standing up shakily.
Giving himself a minute to regain his balance through his fatigue, he halfheartedly waved at Tam and turned around. "Well, I'll leave you all here. Cass, I promise I'll tell you the whole story someday soon."

Kiya swallowed visibly as the guys discussed her recent past... it only made it harder to look at Tate after leaving him. With Kadens decision to leave she moved suddenly to hug her old friend, "I never thought I`d have the chance again" her voice came muffled from his shoulder.

Kaden eyes widened for a second at the sudden hug, but then he calmed down and hugged back. "Destroying the book so quickly...You may have given me a chance after all." He whispered.

She pulled away slightly, catching his gaze, "you`re serious about this?". She didnt know whather to laugh or cry, "theres still a chance?"

Cassiel had settled back down into the hay while everyone was talking. She was still phyiscally exhausted and didn't want to risk standing on her feet for too long. "I've been working on conjuring things, but I can't conjure up big things quite yet. What do you need me to do?"
The whole time she was talking, Cassiel was taking various things out of her bag. She already had wound repair potions already made up. Cassiel pulled the cork out of one vial and poured the contents over Tate's wound. "That should numb any pain you might be having while I clean that up. That is, if that's alright with you."

"Yeah....A small one, but I do have a chance." Kaden replied, looking back into her eyes. "He's still stronger, but at least now he won't be gaining any power."

Tate smiled to Cassiel. But winced when she poured on the potion, because it stung.
"Well I was just going to have you conjure up a piece of gauz, and medical wrap. But you could do this instead."

"I have things that are much better. Like the potion I just put on you should have made that wound numb already. I am going to have to stitch it up though, it will keep it from getting infected." Cassiel took out a needle and some thread. "This shouldn't hurt," she said, "But I have to clean that out first." She took out another vial and poured it on some gauze and used that to clean out Tate's wound. Then she began to sew him up. "The best thing about these stitches are that they are spelled to move with you, so they work almost as well as your normal skin. You will just feel a bit stiff right there," Cassiel explained as she worked.
She paused and looked up at Kaden and Kiya briefly. Looking back down she said, "I don't mean to be argumentative or anything but I think you two owe us the story. It's obvious that Donner doesn't care who he hurts. And by us standing up to him, we've made him mad. What's to say that he isn't going to attack us if he takes over again? We should at least know who he is."

Tate never looked down at the wound while Cassiel was sewing him up because that kind of stuff made him naucious. He looked over the Kiya and Kaden once she had asked that question. And grabbed his necklace, moving it closer to them.
"And what does any of this have to do with my necklace?"

Cassiel quietly worked, waiting for Kaden or Kiya to answer at least one of the questions that she or Tate had. She was glad that this was a clean cut. Already the healing was starting to take a toll on her already exhausted body. "There, finished," she declared. "Fourteen stitches. It was a clean cut so it should heal quickly." She taped some gauze over the wound to keep it clean. Leaning back on the hay, she closed her eyes.

He watched her lay back, closing her eyes. He smiled, but then turned, straight faced to Kiya and Kaden. Waiting for reply's. Hoping they would get the answers they wanted.
