Ender sat inside the abandoned barn, his legs hanging over the edge looking out into the forest. This was where he had found out about his sister... the one member of his family he had left. He didint dare go into town yet because he wasint ready.

Cassiel felt pulled to the barn for some reason. She hadn't been back there in awhile, though she did visit it every now and again. Walking up the path, Cassiel remembered her first home, the way she was so long ago. She was wearing her sunglasses all the time now, but had no trouble seeing when she walked inside the dim barn. Climbing up to the loft, Cassiel saw a person. She didn't believe who she was seeing, thought it was just a memory.

Ender didint notice the new arrival and seemed lost in his own world. He was still ender but he had changed a bit physicaly sence he had dissipeared. His thoughts wandered around all he had missed and what he had yet to do.

Cassiel blinked her eyes but the image didn't go away. "Ender?" she asked tentatively. She still couldn't believe who she was seeing. After all this time, and all the rumors that he was dead, her older brother was sitting in front of her. He looked a little different, but Cassiel still recognized him.

Ender looked behind him and stood up not beleaving his eyes. "cassiel?!?!" he asked ammazed. "your still here??" he continued clearly happy to see her.

"I could say the same about you. Did you know that everyone thinks you're dead?" Cassiel had too much loss in her life to trust what she saw right away. For all she knew this was some sort of trick. At the same time, she couldn't help but smile.

"Genobee, got it." Cassiel finally believed it was really him. Her face broke into a grin. "It's so god to have you back, big brother. I was just getting used to the fact that you were alive when you disappeared. I even put up a grave marker for you, so don't be alarmed if you stumble over it some day."

Cassiel shrugged, trying not to let the hurt show. "You had to do what you had to do. I've left a lot of people when thing got rough."
